    Hi everyone

Well, yesterday was more or less written off once we'd been invited up for a cuppa at the farm or, as it turned out, a cuppa followed by some wine! I really can't handle drinking during the day (unlike every French person I've met here!), and I was fit for nothing for the rest of the day. I spent the evening dozing on the sofa and went to bed with a headache. It's only now I've come on here that I've realised that I didn't log in at all yesterday.

This morning DS2 Skyped - from his mobile phone using a new free app - and the picture and sound quality is amazing; really clear and crisp. I was able to see Summer really clearly - she's so gorgeous I can barely wait to see her. Her mum looks like she's expecting twins - she's a lot bigger this time but it's definitely only one baby in there! She's just started maternity leave which I'm really pleased about because she was looking pretty tired. She's a teacher and it's been a hard term for her.

Jean - thanks for sorting out the spready. It should be a doddle to do the update tomorrow.

ISOM - hope you've had that tooth sorted out. Toothache really is one of the worst pains, isn't it?

Well, I haven't put myself out much today and neither has DH. He's pottering about in the garden and I've done just about as little housework as I can get away with - I think yesterday's wine has had a lasting effect on us. Tonight I shall just sit down and carry on with the baby outfit I'm doing. The cardi is finished (well, apart from the buttons and I shall buy both blue and pink and sew them on when the baby is born and we know what it is!); I've almost finished the second bootie and there's a hat to do, as well. I also want to make a little cardi or shrug for Summer, too.

Anyway, my total this week is just

Mrs Twins Squares (for the Royal Wedding challenge): 2

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

ISOM - if it's just the one tooth and you still have firm teeth either side of it, you may be able to have a bridge or a crown and post, rather than an implant. Either would be a lot cheaper than an implant and, if your dentist is NHS, there's a maximum for treatment which is currently £198. (I was a dental nurse in my past life!). Hope you can find a solution that suits you and your pocket!

I thought you said you'd rescued a gorgeous hunk online, then read again and saw 'hook'!
