Morning all
Just a quickie from me as BIL and SIL are expected at around 11:00, blinkin awful wet day today, ah well never mind it will get better soon,
O Jean you make me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Here is the link for the gown...fingers crossed it works...
http://preemiesuk.googlepages.com/gown.html
f1 - I know what you mean about Debbie Bliss her yarn and patterns are scrumptious bit expensive but worth it for something special
I was a bit fed up last night and did'nt know what to have a go at, so I sorted all my ends of balls out and Russian joined all the same colours and its surprising how many quite large balls I ended up with, so I started some squares don't know what for yet though I'll just do a stack and see how they go together.
Sending (((hugs))) for anyone not feeling tickety-boo or just fed up (like me last night)
Better go they should be here soon, have good days all
Anne

thanks Jean and kinsey, my scan is tomorrow, feeling extra twitchy since drs rang and said the liver function blood test needs repeating to 'check something' got to wait till beginning of march for that as time needs to have elapsed between the two tests.
almost got the boys rooms clear - they are sleeping on mattresses on their floors while the work is done so they can just help drag them into our room during the day. pretty much every available space in the rest of the house garage and covered drive is full now.
once the work is done it will take a couple of months to square up again. upside is 3 big bags went down the charity shop yesterday afternoon.
will pop back as and when i canSPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone
Mrs Moneypenny - hope everything goes well for you, and good luck with the builders; I know exactly what that's like! It will all be worth it in the end.
Pippa - Russian joining must take some dedication! Well done for doing it and not wasting all those bits of wool.
Jean - that's boobtastic! Well done!
Well, due to a lot of difficulties this week, not least my internet playing up, I did not get round to doing the update BUT I will do a double update tomorrow to make sure that we are all up to date.
The weather here is cool and breezy but the sun decided to come out after a rainy start. It looks nicer outside than it feels so I have a few chores to finish then I'm going to sit down for a couple of hours. Sadly, my sofa seems to get less and less use the older I get - I thought it was meant to be the other way around!
Hope you are all having a good Sunday.

Afternoon all - well wet and windy here blurrrgghhh
roamin - you do make me laugh - you are such a happy lady and yours always brighten my day (along with everyone else :j) - the egg boobs are fantastic - was trying to think of a slogan for them but sadly nothing came to mind xxx
mrs m - will be thinking of you tomorrow - take care xxx - as for the builders I feel sorry for you - I could not cope with everything out of place my "ocd's" would be in turmoil- just remember to try as much as you can you have a rest when you can xxxx
pippa s - hope you are feeling brighter today - I know what you mean sometimes I sit there cheesed off and i want to start something and dont know what to do and before I know it i have nothing done but DH says I drift when im in that mood xxx
well dinner all done and cleared away - we all seem to be doing our own thing - my very daft DH is cleaning the car in the rain! DS is making some "stop motion" films on the camera with his lego - am just writing this and away to continue with an ear flap hat I found the pattern for (2 needles!) and have also managed one charity pull on hat - if i dont get back on to update today will leave till next week (thats two weeks i have not updated - I will send myself to naughty corner)
love to everyone especially those low or poorly xxxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
Roamin - love the egg boobs - the choc cream egg one is my favourite!
Mrs M - good luck with the builders and with the repeat test if we don't see you before that.
Front window frames and surrounds finished yesterday morning - they did a really good job and even Hammerited the little fenc and gate. They didn't have to come into the house and were really tidy and I still found it stressful and tiring! Have told them I will save up and get them to paint the windows and walls ant the back of the house, but really I need time to recover from a week of little rest (even though it wasn't me working, I know, it's mad!) Migraine this morning but the good thing with it's being winter is that I could take tabs and go back to bed with all the windows open so I was fine by the time the rugby came on (hooray). Off to see second half now.
(((Hugs ))) to all, especially the ill, stressed and over worked - oh that's pretty much all of us covered then!
1 cat blanket
2 Innocent Smoothie hats0 -
Seakay - glad you're pleased with the work!
I've just been surfing while waiting for the dinner to cook, and I found this http://nonaknits.typepad.com/nonaknits/project_gloves/ which shows how you can make the fingers of gloves with i-cord. It's the thought of knitting the fingers that puts me off making proper gloves so this might be worth trying.
Hope you are all having a good Sunday.
