Hi
Last night, I was happily knitting a child's glove, and getting nowhere with it. I thought I was making mistakes as it wasn't doing what the pattern said, and I unpicked it twice. Still couldn't get it to co-operate with the pattern. Decided that knitting and watching dancing on ice weren't compatible, so put it on one side. Looked at it again when I went to bed, knowing I'd never sleep leaving a knitting behaving badly situation in my knitting bag and still couldn't get it to comply. In the end I decided there must be a pattern error, so I decided to miss out an instruction it had for that size, and now it's behaving beautifully (sigh) One whole evening on a child's glove lol. Should have got a pair done in that time lol. Still the up side is, it wasn't because I was watching dancing on ice that the knitting kept going wrong, so I can still knit and watch next week :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

Hi everyone
Just calling in before I get the update done.
ISOM - I think Jean and I live about four hours away from each other, and I think DPixie is about three hours away, but I could be wrong. Shame we're not closer, though, although I doubt I'd get anything done if we were!
Salome - I've had that happen to me and, as you say, it's horrible leaving it overnight, isn't it? Glad you sorted it out in the end.
Anakat - I hope you and your DGD had wonderful birthdays!:bdaycake::bdaycake: I will add your name and totals to our spreadsheet, so thanks for posting them!
Sock-knitter - hope you had a peaceful weekend. Thinking of you.
It's the most beautiful day today. Sunny, blue skies and very mild. I have loads of washing on the line because I went round the house looking for it, just to make the most of the weather! I hope it's good wherever you all are.
Tomorrow is the book club day at the farm and there will be lots of other stalls because they are holding a 'Beat the Winter Blues Day'. I've been asked to help in the cafe so I won't be around tomorrow until the afternoon. I'm really looking forward to it. They have a company that provides UK food, too, so I'm hoping to pick up a few goodies!

ISOM glad you found something to knit.0 -
belated birthday wishes annakat
i started a tank top in king cole misty yesterday, its horrible to knit with, if u drop a stitch u cant find it, and if u try to pull it back it just goes into knots, so i started it again this morning.
no serious incidents this weekend thank goodness, but i am running out of patience and fed up with the way they treat me. thank goodness its monday and they at school all week. see my mental health nurse tommorrow, for a chat about things and to review my meds.
the weather here is terrible, we've got as many fence panels laying on the lawn now, as we have still standing, the winds are so strong, i've lived in this house 14 years, and never known the wind to do so much damage
hugs all

Sorry, everyone, I've not done the update yet. I've taken all the totals down but I had things to do this afternoon and they all took longer than expected! I'm helping at the farm for most of the day tomorrow but, if I get up early enough, I'll do the update first, if not I'll try and catch up when I can.
Hope you've all had a good day, and that you are having a great evening!
