nearly finished a prem cardigan just a sleeve to go! and the neckband but should get finished tonight :j it is part of a set with a hat and teeny tiny socks.
Can't believe that when you start knitting and tell people what you are doing you start getting requests to knit for other people next time Im gonna keep me mouth shut :rotfl:or invest in another pair of arms!!
I have never had any nastiness on this site, but I do tend to stick to a few threads which have the same nice people posting in them. I did notice once some one posted in a dif thread and people were quite rude to the OP and it was moved to a nicer section where people did help.0 -

There have been a few people whove not been that friendly and some on the sight seem to revel in meaness..problem is the site is so big now that its hard to police...you can report posts if theyre offensive, racist etc...in my exerience most here are a lovely supportive bunch and we support each other in ups and downs as well as many a brave tale of rescued wool!!

mrs-moneypenny poor you having to wait another week, fingers crossed for a cancelation. It would scare me too, lots of hugs. I hate having a smear, but I guess everyone does. Try not to do too much, give your poor back a rest.
ISOM how about something small like angel pockets or wraps?
Wasn't it lovely to hear from Chalky? At least she's not where all the horrible weather is thank goodness.
mioliere I have lots of birds visit my garden but have never had a woodpecker, I would love it. We did once have a sparrowhawk land on the bird bath, it was such a beautiful bird, it didn't stay long enough for me to find a camera though. We sometimes get pheasants in rooting around, and they are beautiful too, I worry about them though, can never remember when the shooting season ends. They're very noisy so you know when they're about!
Shaz hope all is well, how lovely to have a friend with a wool stall.
love to everyone, especially mia's. xxx0 -
i agree i was worried about chalky as i couldnt remember which part of australia she was in. so glad shes having a good time.
we had a sparrow hawk but i wasnt best pleased as it came down to snatch a poor sparrow off our feeeders.
i saw a woodpecker a couple of years ago in the trees behind our house - a mostly white one with bits of red and black. we get tons of sparrows on our front i saw a thrush for the first time in ages last weekSPC~12 ot 124

f1, i have a naughty habit of putting things on stitch holders too
