Chalky needles, wool and sunshine, what more could a girl ask for.

ISOM your poor Mum, as if she hadn't got enough, give her extra hugs from me. Good luck with flat sorting, that's a hard job.

Shaz hope you're feeling a bit better, any news on getting some help?

    Maytaurus thinking of you.

Keep warm everyone, and try to stay dry on a horrid wet day.

  • Happy birthday Pippa :)

I've just posted off my first knitted boob - it was a Christmas design for the Tommee Tippee appeal on Loving Hands - thank you Mrs Moneypenny for pointing me in the right direction.

So far my charity knitting comprises the boob and 6 comfort dolls that I plan to send to Icross in Canada. I wish I had my digital camera with me (it's in storage - boo) so I could take pics of all these things I'm making. I seem to be finishing an item off every night these last couple of weeks!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I shall be asking you for more charity knitting ideas as soon as my arms stop aching from this latest lot ;)
  • happy birthday pippa :bdaycake:

had a lovely morning with a friend, been out for a coffee and chat, and it was so nice to have a bit of adult company. back home now waiting fo rjosh to come home, then i pick daniel up at 4.30. going to try a knitted xmas boob next. my printer isnt working, and i cant find my pattern, so i shall either have to sit in front of comp knitting or write it out by hand

Happy Birthday, Pippa - have a great day! :bdaycake:

I've only just got back from working on the pig farm getting the cafe ready for the Farmer's Market and Christmas Fayre on the 20th. It's been hard work but a lot of fun. There's still loads to do so I'll be going back out there over the next couple of days, and I've volunteered DH, too.

It hasn't stopped raining here today - Chalky, you must be getting the only sun in Europe!

Hugs to everyone who would like one.

    Will pop in again later.

Oh Kathy and Shaz it is sooooo lovely to hear some bright tones in your posts-- I think things have been a bit tough for so many lately I am just hoping that things will get a bit brighter all around our little gang!

Lots of gentle thoughts to all those still struggling with hands overflowing.

I will whisper that the skies are blue and it was balcony time in bikini --- blisssss. Market day tomorrow and I cant wait as I have missed all the produce so much.

Buster is reunited with DD1 and her partner and DD2 is fine and working -- so all well there.

I am really taken by the Kenya school challenge so am going to work on it for the next 5 weeks there.
    Love to all x
