ISOM - :rotfl:cheeky, its the same as my last one only younger, ;) a VW Polo 2001-1.4 5 door in gorgeous silver. DS2 had it bought into his garage/workshop way back in April but everyone was sworn to secrecy, and OH was told to keep me away from there,
f1 - lovely to see you back, glad all went well and I wish you all every happiness in your new home :) x

Managed to get a few more squares done last night, the Jan Eaton book is an inspiration so many lovely squares to choose from. I have used a whole bag of little balls up already.

Hi everyone from a wet and windy corner of France!

Chalky - great photos! I hope your cold goes away soon; what a pain to have a cold now you're back in warmer climes.

Pippa - hope you are enjoying a lovely meal. Have a great day.

Shaz - good to hear from you and great that the craft stall went so well. You must be thrilled, and to get orders, too, is excellent.

F1 - hope you are settling in to your new home.

Well, DH is back at the farm today helping to get the barns ready for Saturday. We are just hoping that the rain stops before then otherwise everyone who comes will need wellies! I shall go back out there a couple of times this week to help with things. Chalky - I'm not too sure about a TV programme! It's not even as romantic there as in the new Edwardian Farm series that has just started!

Well, I've been ironing while watching the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph. It never fails to move me, and I am so proud that Great Britain honours those we have lost with such a wonderful service.

Well, time for lunch. I have no idea when DH will be back; it depends on how well they get on. With all this rain, there's not much daylight around these days!

I hope you are all having a good day.

    Morning all!
Just finished listening to the remembrance ceremony and service from the Cenotaph.
Now waiting for OH to call. Divorce paperwork is proving to be even more stressful than I expected. Cold weather and current health probably not helping, to be honest.
    UPDATE
Only managed 2 squares this week.
I've only done a little bit of lurking and so not very up to date on the news so I'll just wish everyone a restful day and send
((( hugs ))) to all who need them

  • Loving the teddy Chalky - so are you now in Teddy mode - that's the soft cuddley sort not the silky underwear type - well I don't think so but you can correct me if needs be.

I had an e mail update from Laura today and post below the progress

"sorry about the long delay in update x

The days all seem to blend together at the moment.

Mums finally at home, but she’s been poorly with flu like symptoms and a bad chest since arriving home, we got her into the doctors for a check. They changed all her medications as there were some tablets she has been taking for yrs now, which apparently should have been stopped because you shouldn’t take them if you have heart problems or have suffered a heart attack. L-O-L.

He also told her she had MRSA, Mum explained that nobody had told her she had MRSA. Apparently for some reason there not sure now if she has it or not, were waiting to hear from the Docs!?!"

Laura did say she would post here a bit later, but as I know she has enough on her plate at present and is running around like a chook without it's head .I just wanted to share the news and let you all to know the latest situation regarding Maytaurus.

I am still working on sewing stuff (ss - sh!) need to complete it all this coming week, oh and will be out all day tomorrow - shopping YUK. If I don't start I will never get it done in time, so love and cuddles to you all, will call in tomorrow and see how its all gone in my absence-you had better all behave while I am missing! xx
