Lovely bit of crochet going on there ISOM :-)
Roaming.... I didn't think of the Sailors. Will look into that :-) Are they fussy about colours, or are any ok????
Lovely and sunny here at the moment :-)
Schooling my girls this morning then going with my eldest girl to the shops, then we're popping some flowers on my son's grave. She and her husband were around my place for tea last night, then we had a game of Trivial Pursuits. All good fun :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

Hi everyone
Salome - thinking of you on this sad day.
ISOM - love the hex blanket; gorgeous colours!
Jean - I have tried to plant the update at the side of my blog but have not succeeded so far. I will keep trying, though! At least, thanks to you, I can post it now!
Chalky - hope you've arrived safely and are finding it warm and sunny?
Well, today seems to be disappearing fast and I don't know why. I've written a few letters and made a chicken casserole that's about it.
It's quite cold here but at least it's not raining - yesterday and the day before were horrible, a real reality check to remind me that the summer has gone.
Anyway, I'll catch up with you all later.

Hello to one and all -- the Chalky's have landed !! All well here and a quick visit to the market this morning gave me a thrill as there were still pomegranates and figs to be had --- my favourites and I was worried the season was finished.
Just want to send a big hug as things here are still so difficult for so many " friends " on here! Special hello to the newbies
ISOM -- That is a really beautiful blanket! You must be thrilled !
Pippa -- Love the Mobius
Well (in a whisper) the sun has been shining beautifully here so I will try and blow some to you all x

Bit of a sad day today poor MIL would have been 90 today, needless to say OH is all over the place he can't seem to settle down.
BIL has just popped in on his way home from work and bought me some flowers for my birthday tomorrow.OH is taking me to Merry Hell tomorrow, well he did ask me where I wanted to go
We don't go that often but I want something nice to wear for Sunday. Also we will be in the right direction for DS2/DIL's house
they have asked us over tomorrow for tea.

MrsTwins - ooo yummm good enough to eat
PTB - you sure have been busy, hope the parcel has arrived
kathy - You know you are nearly there when the polishing is done, it looks so nice I always think when its smooth and pale. I have checked the sheet on page 3 and my figs are right, are the ones on the first page last year's?
mrs-moneypenny (((hugs))) I know how you must be feeling, MIL's ashes have already been scattered but we are still waiting for the plaque mounting
Shelley - (((hugs))) I am thinking of you.

Chalky - glad you have arrived safely!
Pippa - I've just checked and I can only see one page of the update on my blog and it looks like it's last year's! I'm not sure what I've done but I will check and correct it tomorrow before I go out and help on the local pig farm! What with Jean being an expert on cows and me starting to learn about pigs, we will soon be able to run a virtual smallholding!
Hope everyone has had some sun today and that tomorrow's weather is better than the forecasters are predicting!
