HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOTIFUTTI (sorry it is late and your day is nearly over):bdaycake:
Sounds like you have had a lovely time with goodies from M&S and a chinese (yummy) xxx

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend - will try and pop in although head like sieve - I saw that you were talking lists well i have a list for a list etc - now im not sure whether its all those years in an office (I was told when i started at the very tender age of 16 have a pad on the desk and make notes and list whats needed to be done) or it could have been in recent years dealing with the anxiety and they told me to write down everything to clear it from the head rather than let it churn around but im always writing a list and ticking and adding as i go along (never ever gets finished mind you!)
Nothing to update this week (naughty me) ive been plodding through a baby blanket and they always seem to take me a week (what am i like)

Boys have gone to Pizza Hut - children eat free - they will bring mine back in the box for me mmmmmmmmmm a welcome treat

Kind and loving thoughts to all - J xxxx

Good Morning to one and all ---- The irony of my nights sleep did dawn on me as I was dropping off. The night before 2 of DH'S friends had come to stay in readiness for the trip together to the reunion so there were three 6'+ men on the premises and last night when I was lying in bed determined not to think about Crimewatch I was all on my own ! Slept quite well though! Took the crochet up in case I woke in the night but it was on the floor this morning so a good sign!

Well I think of Shelley soon after I come too and hope things are not too difficult. Lots of gentle thoughts to you and your family

Toots--- Hope you enjoyed your chinese!

Kathy I can almost feel your frustration but hopefully it will be all over in the kitchen at least very soon and then you will have a lovely study, kitchen, gorgeous entrance hall and pest free bedrooms-- Lots of love to you both x

    Shaz-- Have a peaceful weekend.

Kinsey - I bet William is growing!

F1 I hope you are doing OK -- It must get increasingly difficult being in the house as Christmas approaches. Wish I was closer and you could send me shopping with a list!!!

PSSO Lots of gentle thoughts. I don't think things get easier just different. I am sure Jim would have loved to see Jayden running around. Lots of love xx

May Hope this lovely Autumn has helped you with each day.

Don I hope your beautiful baby is settling well.

Mrs M Hope you soon feel brighter.

Jean Hope all is well and dry in your lovely corner of France

Purple Teddy Bear I bet your little ones are getting excited.

Pippa Circular needle is in the post --- I hope you love it and I don't want it back --- ever! Its sunny here so hope you have a good weekend packing up the van.

Lot of love to one and all especially those with their hands overflowing x
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • Hello to everyone in this thread,

Thanks for all the great work you do and all the support you show to each other and to my mum ‘Maytaurus’.

I’m new to this site and don’t often get chance to use the internet - so I hope this turns out readable and in the correct place.

My mum tries to keep me up to date with all the great things going on in this thread and has shown me all the lovely pics of your wool addiction projects.

I was just checking this thread to see if you were trying to post to my mum ‘May’ and thought you may be worried. Unfortunately on Fri night my mum was taken into hospital. She suffered another heart attack. Were waiting to find out more – the good news is - she is doing well, but it looks as though she will be in hospital for a while, as they think more surgery is needed on her heart.

Were all very worried... And writing this is difficult.
For a long time now, my mum ‘MAYTAURUS’ has been very poorly and has a number of serious health problems which have affected her whole life in every way, for every single moment. My mum has struggled with severe pain and loss of everyday life choices, her independence, and energy needed to do the most simplest of tasks. Despite this she has always tried to do her very best and is still the person in my life who is always there for me and always there for her family.

I know that this site has offered my mum an external outlet and has cheered her up lots of times when her illness has been most severe.
I love her very much and just wanted to say...

Thank you...to all of you who have given my mum a reason to smile.

It’s nice to know that there are still people in the world, who try to make a difference...
    Thanks!
  • BUGSTUNNY - many thanks for the update on Maytaurus, send her my love and best wishes for a speedy and successful outcome.

Bugstunny - thank you so much for letting us know about your lovely Mum. She is one of the most inspirational people on this thread, always searching for links to patterns and tutorials, always ready with lovely pictures that she manages to match up to each of us in person. We truly miss her when she doesn't post - as Kinsey has said, she is a legend.

I wish her well in her recovery. Please tell her we miss her and just want her to get better. You sound like a lovely daughter - how wonderful for you to have each other. Thank you for sharing such a lovely Mum with us.
