Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well.

Jean - how is that DH of yours?

Mrs Moneypenny - I am so sorry that the news was not good for your MIL. I shall keep her in my thoughts. It must be such a worry for you all.

Ginnyknit - your poor OH. I hope his eye is getting better. And bless your grandson!

Pippa - I am so glad that your mum is happy in her new home.

Chalky - how sad for you to find your lappy in that circumstance but it's good that you were able to rehome it. It's a shame that some people do not appreciate the work that goes into crafting, let alone the materials. The charity shop could at least have put it in the window and offered raffle tickets if they felt that no one would pay a realistic price for it - it would have raised far more money for the charity than the paltry £2 they were asking for it, and it would have gone to a someone who wanted it. If I ran a charity shop, I know that's what I would have done, but then I appreciate the time, effort, and cost that goes into such things. I have visited your blog and made a little donation to your fund. The blankets are gorgeous and I love all the blues! Hope DD1 is recovering speedily. My DGD1 is bouncing around as best she can, bless her.

Elaine - I am glad you treated yourself accidentally!

I am still searching for my mojo these days - I think Edna paid a visit while I was unwell, and she is still hanging around a bit. I've done some more little hats which I can give to a friend who is taking his mum back to the UK after her holiday here in a couple of weeks, so that will save the postage back to the UK. I am making little handbags for my youngest granddaughters that I will fill with hair bands and slides, and so on; they will be light to post for C*******s presents. I have some gorgeous Disney Princess buttons to put on them when they are finished.I am still working on a C*******s wreath for my mum but sewing on all the bits is taking a while, so I do it in fits and starts.

Well, I had better go and get the washing off the line. I don't like it now that the clocks have changed and it gets darker earlier - not my most favourite time of the year.

Will check if I need to do an update tomorrow.

Hugs to all, trying times for so many on here in so many ways.

Off to the opticians later. It seem the prices have come down so I can finally have my vari focals instead of 2 pairs of glasses which have driven me mad. It affects everything I do and whilst nothing much in the bigger scheme of things it is very frustrating. It also means I can either see my knitting or the tv but not both at the mo :rotfl:

I decided to do something for Christmas for charity and looked at the shoebox scheme but I cannot afford the donation needed so contacted them and they are happy to have one parcel of bits and bobs to fill up any boxes that are a bit empty. I also read that a lot of young girls have never had any jewellery and are so happy when they get some - so Im off to the Cs's tomorrow to pick up some bits, add in mittens and my sewing kits and I think I will have a good parcel especially as the post office are letting bigger parcels go at the small parcel rate.

Hope everyone is warm, comfortble and not too stressed today . xx

    Me again

ginny - aww thanks x I can just picture it...all warm and cozy, you dozing, feet up and with your knitting on your lap, big man and little man cuddled up fast asleep on the sofa ahhh lovely does it get any better than that

chalky - I have tried unsucessfully to post a comment on your blog but Google wont connect me grrrr... so here we go...
I am surprised and upset that your gorgeous blanket was sold for just £2... Us crafters put so much love into our work and always worry (but hope) that it will be well received, that is the nature of crafting I suppose... My lovely kind hearted friend OH and I have missed you both this year but hopefully things will get back to normal soon :)... A PayPal payment is winging its way to you for your worthy cause and in a small way I hope it will help make a difference to someone x
Little scrumptious is growing so quickly he looks full of fun and such a happy little chap

well now it is time for me to properly log out and go relax for a bit before OH gets back, they have been moving Moms up and down bed to a storage place because she said she didn't need it where she is, but knowing Mom she is quite likely to change her mind in a week or two...watch this space :rotfl:

ta ta the noo enjoy the rest of your evenings love Annie xx

i wondered where wed gone, its very quiet at the mo.
i went on a duck release yesterday so my remaining 5 have now flown the coop. had fun thinking where to put them (they ended up in a trolley outside local sains, in the church doorway, the mystery shelf of the library, tesc0s trolly bay and the drs waiting room) i sent one anonymously to the local paper with a note saying what they were all about the web addy and the fact that some were being released locally soon - havent so far seen anything mentioned. i thought if they did print anything it might encourage others to join in and spread ducks across the county.

    hope everyone is well.
im knitting mini stockings at the mo 9 done so far need a class worth of them by christmas.
