Good morning one and all. Been to the market today and gave all I need in for the latest batch of chutney which will be underway in a moment. Unusually they gad some green tomatoes. So, it's going to be a medley of aubergines, plum and green tomato. It sells really well at Yoga classes so as every Euro this Autumn is going to help the human trafficking of women in particular in Almeria I am glad about that. I am also making a new blanket of 25 squares and I am going to sell a square for a Euro then choose a number( William's birthday) and then whoever has bought that corresponding square will win the blanket. I will probably end up buying half the squares as I am hopeless at asking anyone for money!!!!

Well, jean's hats are amazing for the Seafarers Mission. What a great cause.

Kathy that is early. I was so sorry to hear of your Grandaughter's ankle. Been a bad year for them !!!!!

nursemaggie.good for you . That is far too technical for my pea sized brain!!!!

Hope everyone else is as well as can be.hope the storms are not affecting you.

Thank you for kind thoughts of Dd1. Still undergoing physio but due out here in a couple of weeks for a well deserved holiday.

    Hi peeps

Mom is now in the care home we chose for her and loves it...phew...what a relief. She is eating and sleeping well, the day she moved in the hairdresser was there and she had her hair done, the chiropodist is calling today so she is well pleased.

We did think that she wouldn't be going as the day she was due to move she fell out of bed in the early hours, so we were up dressed and off to the QE (again) by 12:45 am...after a couple of hours she was xrayed luckily nothing was broken, then another hour or so after various tests the DR said she could go back to the enablement centre...so we were off home again and back to bed by 4:30am...

jean - hope himself is a bit happier now, and recovering well and you are taking time for a bit of R & R x

I dont know where to start with all the news you have put on here, my head is a bit elsewhere tonight.

So lovely to have good news Pippa, sounds like your Mum is in her element.

Chalky I do like the cause you have chosen, I think I said as much on your blog but so busy I forgot.

Mrs Mp glad your Mil's treatment is nearly done so you can all re-charge your batteries.

Jean you deserve a medal !

Kathy vitamins, good food and chocolate will soon improve your lethargy.

Just had a message that my friends who moved down south have kindly offered me their old computer ,all cleaned up and shiny so I will have an 'A' button again - you dont know what you will miss till its gone :rotfl:

Doing ok here despite a few stupid things spoiling our week but Hubs is in bed since last night - I think he was a hedgehog in a previous life :D but we are going out tomorrow and having Dgs later in the day.

    Hugs to all xx

I didn't get to our monthly meeting yesterday, I let the social anxiety get the better of me but I'm determined to go next month.

I did get a bodywarmer and 3 hats done (all preemie) so will have to take them next time.

No I think it is the condition Ginny I sleep a lot. The longest I have ever slept was 26 hours but I quite often sleep for 13 to 16 hours and end up getting up mid afternoon and hence I am wide awake at this hour.

Decided if I have to work out how to put this aircraft carrier on a scarf DS can take some photos and upload them on here for me. I will definitely show you the aircraft carrier if I ever get it done. will have to look on the knitters thread for the software to transfer the diagram to knitting.
  • nursemaggie - I use a couple of sites for pictures to be turned into charts...... I do also have a couple of software programmes that do it as well but having just changed my computer over I have yet to install them.

You could also do a search for cross stitch patterns for an aircraft carrier flight deck - as they are all counted out and would easily convert to a sweater or scarf pattern first link is cross stitch - second link is knitting

    NURSEMAGGIE
    - On the previous page..... they are both easy to use good luck with the aircraft carrier.

Thanks roamin, sorry I missed that I thought I had read all the last page. The actual flight decks are fairly simple as long as I don't have to put in all the bits round the outside. The hardest bit will be the planes.

This so is not a child he is 20. The game has never been translated into English so they are all adults that play as they have to have enough Japanese to read everything.

I will be glad when all these Christmas presents are done I am dying to do some preemi knitting.
