So sorry to read that Pink.the board guide has passed away following a heart attack last week.

Nothing much happening here apart from fighting with strips to make a ball.

DH -thoroughly miserable he has been told at least one more month flat on his back - ho hum.......... I shall make him cake tomorrow to cheer him up.
not managing to get any craftyness done due to all the other running around bits and bobs I am currently doing BUT I will get back to it all.

just popped on LH it seems quite quiet on there at the mo i think lou is feeling a bit down since some of the groups disbanded and people started to distribute more of their donations themselves. i know it was how she wanted it as she was getting inundated and parcels were taking over her house. there isnt really an answer as people are still posting what they are making and where its gone, i suppose things just change over time. i think our thread has evolved over time but we are all still keen on making for good causes and supporting each other where we can and bottom line is i think our virtual friendship is the glue that holds this thread together - have a hug everyone

mil started her radiotherapy today,then we had to go to a different hospital for an xray so a lot of waiting about, luckily id snuck my knitting in my bag so got a couple of ducks knitted while waiting for mil to have her treatments.
might have a go at sewing so together again tonight

for those of you whos sigs still look like youve been swearing badly if you go into user CP setting then click edit sig, then save sig without actually changing anything you should get your proper sig back in all its original glory

am really jealous of the Aldi offer! thanks for sharing tho' Mrs moneypenny - might tempt my Dear Wee Sis to go and get me some.
I left LH back in the spring for various reasons including not being able to log into and stay on their forum - haven't been in for a look since, but still continue to craft for various charities, as well as friends.

Hope the radiotherapy goes really well for your mil.... mine was a bit fraught but only because of the nature of the 'illness' and the uncertainty of what to expect.....

I gave up on LH because lst time I managed to log in my post was deleted! I wasnt on it much so they wont miss me. Things move on though dont they. Im glad I found you guys - best place, best friends!

Im hoping to get to Ikea tomorrow - but I have a list and they dont sell yarn

I've not been online much lately, been seeing my gorgeous Grandsons quite a bit and loving it
Still knitting but a lot more slowly, every little helps though so not going to feel guilty about it.
