Kathy our septic inspection was FREE the commune paid ....... (well on the ones that passed the test- not sure about those who failed).
have a glass of white whine and am thoroughly enjoying it listening to the rumbles in the background and the occasional flicker of the lights - guess where the night is going then - off to source a really good book that will keep me sitting in one spot. Night night lovelies - wish I was going to see Mrs Brown - I am green with the jealousy ...........

Hi Jean; yes, I heard that some communes pay, but the letter that pre-booked the appointment said that we would be sent a facture of €60 to pay at the tresorie! I'm just glad it passed. I have to say you would have to pay me NOT to go and see Mrs Brown's Boys! I've tried to watch it a couple of times and just can't see what's funny about it!

Kathy, the knitting faster didn't work :(
I realized I wasn't going to have enough so did the skirt part in white then the bottom hem part in the pink. Think it's ok though. Pics later.

Chalky, was D' Movie any good ?

Didn't go to rehab today, didn't sleep well and felt too tired. Knew it would be a struggle to get through it so phoned in 'sick'.

Should have 'watered' the weeds yesterday when it was hot and sunny. Cloudy and breezy today, might improve later.

Oh, before I forget. For those of you filling cake tins for visitors, here are some tasty treats I came across.

    http://createbakemake.com/2014/06/18/favourite-slice-recipes/

Might give some of them a try myself, my mouth was watering looking at some of the recipes there.

    See you later.

Thank you, I did look a while ago but there are some new ones there now.
She only developed the allergy last year at 19, before that she loved eggs and had salad cream on everything (except salad for some reason)

Extra Maltesers are in the same class as leftover wine, neither of them exist in the real world.
