Am in a rush but just wanted to wish Chalky and her family a wonderful reunion and a fantastic time together.

Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Pippa for yesterday, too; sorry, the day just ran away with me, as it does nearly every day.

    Hugs to you all.

TGI Friday - can lie in the next two mornings.

F1- skiving , who me? Could hardly keep my eyes open I was so tired. I wasn't the only one mia,as one of the guys said he wasn't there either as he was kn***kred (his exact words). A few of us seem to have sleep problems so it's maybe quite common.

Have just seen a pic of my oldest granddaughter on facebook, wearing a very fetching blue poncho in the rain.
Son in law who retired from the Navy was invited to bring the family to see the new ship, HMS Queen Elizabeth being launched today. As they were not allowed to take brollies, everyone was being provided with ponchos in case of rain. GD not happy,at 13 her street cred will be in tatters.

Kathy, slow down. Rushing is not good.

Jean, ^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^ bet you are as well. When the man's away.....

Hope everyone has a nice relaxing weekend, doing just what you want to do. Hugs to anyone who needs one.

    Hello you lovely lot.
WELL ... after hardly not sleeping last night. DD1 realised what I was going to be like and arrived with all her equipment and pinned me down for manicure, pedicure, eyebrows and eyelashes. ...,, if you really knew me that is so not me .. BUT ,my goodness I have felt so glam today .bless her it was just what I needed.

Well little family arrived here at the house and I heard these words" it's Grandma ..I will run to her! " well it's over six months since they left our door and my heart leapt.i was so worried at his young age he would not remember ,not so much us because of Skype etc ,but the house .But he came in headed for the stairs. A challenge as his life is lifts and escalators. But he knew his room, where the toys were etc etc. Well we have had the most wonderful few hours and I have just spent the last half an hour just siting beside his bed, he is fast asleep. The monster quilt is folded back and his mummy and daddy are crashed next door. So lovely people I am one happy bunny this evening x x x
Try and do a good deed every day.

Aww Chalky brought a tear to my eye thinking of you so happy just watching him sleep - I do that too.

Ds turned up today as he is off for a few days. he wanted to go with Oh and pick Dgs up from school - big softy or what. Dgs was so pleased as he loves his uncle to bits.

Had a few wobbly days with OH and was quite worried but seems to have settled down again - phew!

Psso am hoping to propogate some of the lavender plants when they grow and will happily send you some next year - they are 4 varieties from chelsea flower show through Gardeners world so should be beautiful.

If you pop on my blog will you say hi on there as I would love to see your comments xx
