Dibuzz - I have added you to our list. I notice in your sig that you mention a project in memory of Soulie, and that you have fourteen items. You are welcome to include those in our totals. Please let me know if you want to. Also, if it's not too sensitive, I would love to know who Soulie was, but I will understand if you do not want to share the information.
Soulie was a member who posted in the craft section, she started a thread last year called 13 projects in 2013 but during the year she lost her fight with cancer so this year someone else started a thread in her memory.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Oh its been lovely here again  my garden has never looked so tidy...not that it all stands to attention I am not that sort of gardener, but I dead head, trim bushes, yank weeds out and just generally pootle about in the fresh air, and it's good exercise...I am not in to all that throwing yourself about the room type of exercise ohhh nooo not for me :rotfl:
kathy - MrsTwins came on a few weeks ago and asked if anyone would like to make some butterflys for her, I am not sure who else is making any, just jean and me up to now I think, they are are for SIBOL to go with the blankets for the homes, the ladies love them

f1 - I know the very place it will be perfect for you...go take a look at chalkys world she has some brilliant tutorials tucked away in there

thank you all, for understanding how mil (and i) were feeling, a polite phone call to the mc nurse this morning has resulted in an appt next week for all the pre op tests and a provisional op date. still worrying but at least now things are being done. mil feels much happier today now she knows she has a date to concentrate on and is getting more info.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi everyone
Pippa - thanks for the info about the butterflies. I will take a peep at SIBOL.
Dibuzz - so sad that Soulie lost her fight against that horrid disease, but it's lovely that her legacy is continuing.
Mrs Moneypenny - I am so glad that MIL now has a date to think about.
F1 - have you tried Pinterest? There are lots of photo-tutorials on there.
Well, my indigestion seems to have finally gone, so I feel a bit more human now. Am off for a shower then will look for some butterfly patterns.
Hope you all have a good evening.

Hello one and all. The day has just chased away from me today.... I have been sorting, organising and tidying ALL my crafting stuff. My goodness it feels so good. I know DDIL is longing to have some time just to poodle with crafting stuff so is wanted to be sure I knew what I had, where it was and most importantly it was not in an unholy mess when she asked for something.
It feels lovely now
Ginnyhas also come to my rescue and kindly said she will help me finish some of Mrs Twins squares. They were wearing me down a bit as I want empty hands in just over a week to read stories etc, etc.
Thank you ginny
Kathyi am so glad you are feeling better.
mrs Moneypennyso glad there is better news of Dmil.
pippai bet your garden is looking lovely and thank you for kind comments about Chalky's .
jeanhope your guests are loving all the lovely preparations you had undertaken.
dibuzz[/B]i am sorry to hear of such a sad loss.
Well it is time to go up the wooden hill. Hope I sleep better tonight. Clock watching in the wee hours last night . Sweet dreams everyone xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Painting was stopped before it even got started - I made cushions for Sis in Law's new (2nd hand) chairs and they put up a GAZBO on the deck - too sunny (??) will get pics today and share them........oooooo it's looking nearly complete - just requires a jug of something LONG- cool - alcoholic I believe! Also whizzed up some nets for the velux bedroom windows to stop the birds zooming in and out for her- in exchange for a hand with the painting today, but as its the boiler room there isn't a great deal of space or for that matter walls to paint so it will be done in jig time!
Loads of love and cuddles to you all

Morning all
Just a quick post
mrs-m - I am so pleased for you and MIL it will be so much easier for you both knowing when it will be
jean - the bottom one is the pattern I use but I had to convert it because I kept getting mixed up
chalky - have you ever tried a cup of Chamomile tea? it always does the trick for me...ohhh I could have brought some of the squares back with me when we picked up the blankets last time, I don't like to think of you struggling with themx
We are off out now I need some more cream yarn to finish SIL's blanket off, I really thought I had another 100gr somewhere but can I find it...no way...
TTFN back later
Anne x0 -
Good morning everyone. I will try that Camomile Tea. I was reading about free motion quilting between 4.00 a.m and 5.00 a.m. Kathy i have taken over the baton from you! Don't take it back though I don't want you up as well.
pippa you did. I was so glad you finished that blanket for me that you took. It's not like me really. I usually like finishing things but they have been lurking for far too long. I used Parcels To Go and find them brilliant. Pick up from the house and so much cheaper than the post.
jean I will say it again ... You sound like the most wonderful host.
Right must get on as we are walking out to the next village with SIL and BIL but the lovely weather has deserted us just now!
Have lovely days everyone xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
