Hi everyone. I've had a few days of feeling a bit under the weather. We went to a lovely party on Saturday night and, although I swear I didn't drink very much Vino Collapsio (honest!), it seemed to disagree with me, and I have the spent the last couple of days feeling nauseous with terrible indigestion which is still bothering me. It must be my age!

Anyway, I am sorry that I have been MIA and will try and get the update done later on today, as well as catch up with all your posts.

Jean - those hedgies are beautifully outrageous, and I love the colours!

Chalky - I bet you're glad the dentist's appointment is over! Hope William is doing well.

Well, we lost a passenger side wing mirror the other day. The French do not know what the white line in the middle of the road is for, and a woman driver came at us at a rate of knots and just took off her mirror completely and cracked the glass in ours. The noise was horrendous. We both stopped but, as only the glass was damaged in our mirror, we decided not to take it further. She did apologise in a French sort of way (Jean will know what that means!). I managed to order a new mirror glass online for around £15 including shipping; I should imagine hers will cost a lot more because she will probably take her car to the main dealer to get it fixed. I hope it teaches her a lesson; she just was not reading the road.

The next thing to go wrong was a leaky hose in my dishwasher. I have ordered a new one of those, too; what would we do without the internet?

Then we had a terrific thunderstorm on Sunday night, which left us with a power cut. Luckily, at the first roll of thunder, I unplugged the Livebox, the TVs and the satellite box (I learnt that lesson a couple of years ago!), so nothing was damaged this time.

We are hoping that nothing else will go wrong - at least, for a while.

Well, I think I had better get that kettle on again. Will call back later and do the update.

Hope the sun is shining wherever you are; here, it's a beautiful morning but we had rain for most the day yesterday.

    Hello you lovely lot.
If anyone would like some circular needles I will pop them in the post for you. I hate them and have had a morning tidying my Craft Cupboard! What a job but it looks so amazing now. And there is no space for circulars as I know I will never use them.
    Size ...
    1 x 31/4 mm .length 80 cm.
1x 4mm . Length 80 cm and it says Circulat twin pack on the packet
    And 1 random fat one.

Kathy hope you are feeling better.

Out for a meal at Dsils this Eve so must get a wiggle on as attacking the cupboard of doom next!
Try and do a good deed every day.

    morning all

    sorry minor rant
yesterday was a bit of a disappointment, having been told the appt was for xrays and breathing tests, all that happened was weight height and BP taken then spoken to by anaesthetist to talk about risks. and told tests would be booked and mil was on the surgery list. she was understandably disappointed especially when he said the tests would take about 3 weeks and we were told the the op would be in 4 weeks - and that was 2 weeks ago!!

finished the second circle last night so will start middle band today that joins them to make a hat.

hope all are well. hugs were needed

Kathy hope you are feeling better today, maybe the wine was off :D

Mrs MP  for you, bloomin hospitals, you rant away hunny.

Jean the decking looks fab, good excuse for lots of parties.

Just taken Dgs to school, he stayed here last night as he kept his mummy awake for 2 nights and she crawled through work in a daze. His Daddy is away on his training for the new job so we brought Dgs here after tea and he slept for 11 hours :T he was worn out too. Autistic children are notoriously bad sleepers but he has been ok for a while, maybe he felt the change with Daddy away.

Am off to check my garden and stare with delight at my veggies growing ! hugs to all xx

Hi everyone. #thank you all for your kind thoughts, and especially to Elaine for her pm. I am feeling a lot better now, thanks. I have a feeling I ate something that disagreed with me. It could have been quails' eggs or olives, because they were the only things I ate that DH didn't eat. I took some amazing indigestion remedy that the local pharmacy advised, and it has done the trick, but I will keep an eye on myself.

Mrs Moneypenny - you must be hopping mad about the hospital.

Chalky - that's a lot of money for a white filling! I can understand why you went for the other option.

I have done the update, which you can find here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhOgVamMPLdkdDREdE9nS2pPYTRlcFQ3Ujc5ekNKamc&usp=drive_web#gid=0

Jean - I have added a 'Butterflies' category. Is that right or did I miss something while I was away. Also, I have added Dibuzz to our spreadsheet but don't know how to alphabetise her!

Dibuzz - I have added you to our list. I notice in your sig that you mention a project in memory of Soulie, and that you have fourteen items. You are welcome to include those in our totals. Please let me know if you want to. Also, if it's not too sensitive, I would love to know who Soulie was, but I will understand if you do not want to share the information.

Well, I am just psyching myself up to go shopping. I'm not really in the mood but we need stuff, so I can't really avoid it!

Still haven't caught up with posts on here and will really try and do that today. I feel as if I have missed a lot, especially about the butterflies.
