Aye, we blueys need to stay in the shade, still enjoy the warmth but avoid burning.

Shaz, enjoy your trip over the border -where are you going ?

Chalky, hope you and the family enjoyed the barbie. Our one hasn't been used for about 6 years cos every time someone mentions the B word the rain comes on, so we stopped bothering.

    Sleep well everyone.

I always chicken out when it comes to knitting in the round too, I wouldn't know if I was coming or going.
I've just cleaned my son's car before it gets too warm, off to the doc's soon then I'm going to have a go at the leaves and flowers.

Morning all, another one here not keen on round knitting, whether on dpns or circular needle. Years since I last tried it though so I 'might' have to give it another go, don't hold yer breath though girls.:rotfl:

Mrs mp, the yarn is rico baby so soft print, a variegated one, so I only have to do the knitting and it comes out all pretty and stripy.:) There's another one on the needles, just hope I have enough yarn to finish it.
    Fingers are crossed.
Hope mil's appts all go well.

Off out in a mo but will check back later.
    Have a good day.

Another gorgeous day here and another one who hates knitting in the round.

Barbeque was lovely .. Thank you.

Dentist this afternoon... A horrible filling. I think in a hundred years or less the dentistry we have had to endure will seem barbaric. My Mum used to have her teeth pulled out by the blacksmith!!!

    shaz have a lovely time.

i was only thinking about that yesterday when we were moving bikes round in the garage so Dh could get his out for a ride.

hope the filling goes ok and isnt as bad as you are fearing.

the circle ive chosen is knitted in short rows, it said you knit 6 repeats of the pattern to make the circle but after 6 i had what looked like an icecream cone so i did 10 repeats and got a nice flat circle

Back from dentist.. I thought I would ask for a white filling... £176 in total! So opted for the usual. The injection hurt, the clamp hurt... And now I feel as if I have been punched. Oh! I hate the dentist. Still all done now.
And to cheer me up a little parcel was on the mat when I got back. Thank you so much indeed pippa they really have cheered me up especially being so colourful. Such a kind thought xxx
