Morning all, hope you and yours are well today.

Sun shining here so my bed has been stripped and sheets ready to go on the line.

Feel much better today but I promise not to overdo things. No point, as I know it would take two days to recover. Slow and steady is my mantra for now.

Finished the pastel random blanket last night, found a part ball of similar yarn so no need to go to the shop for more.Phew.

Had a looksee at the butterfly patterns........itty bitty fiddly ain't really my thing so might not be contributing to that, might try one just to see but I'm not promising.

Found some more eyelash yarn, I'm sure the blinking stuff breeds in the cupboard, so might do some 'original' type hedgies. Almost out of knitting lace so back to the fluffy ones.

Off for a cuppa and watch some cookery progs on tv.
Have a great day and hope you aren't too affected by thunderstorms in your areas.

Hi everyone. We got back from our trip to the UK on Thursday evening, and my feet don't seem to have touched the ground until today. We had a wonderful time catching up with everyone, and I can't believe how quickly the time went.

I now need to catch up with all the posts that I've missed on here which I will do later; we have friends coming round later today so I'd better get a wiggle on and tidy up.

I hope you are all keeping well. Hope William is much improved, Chalky; I've been thinking of him a lot.

Elaine - I hope you are recovering well.

Will catch up again later today or tomorrow and tell you all about our trip (and the vast amount of money we spent - we found bargains everywhere!)

Afternoon all a beautiful day here 'bout time too I say

Feeling a bit more me now I don't why but I am happier today

Hi kathy - welcome back we missed you, but it sounds like you have had a great time bargain hunting would it be of the woolly variety???
ginny - hope your OH is feeling the benefit of the injection
jean - your dear wee sis is a star...love those big pom-poms
mrs-m - how is DS today?
shaz - sending a (hug) you might be needing one xx

I found the hedgy yarn this morning after an unplanned tidy up...you know the sort of thing, I go under the stairs to get some yarn out, knock a box over, stoop down to pick it up then the ironing board attacks me, grrrr upshot was ,clear the whole lot out and put it straight...and thats when I found it down the back of my wheelie drawer stack and it was still in the bag so that was good :)

Must away enjoy your day everyone
    Love Anne xx

Nice to see you back Kathy, seems like it was only yesterday you were leaving France. Look forward to hearing your news.

Pippa, glad you`re feeling a bit brighter again. Sometimes `down days` just hit for no particular reason. Most annoying when you can`t think why.

Been nice and sunny this weekend so have at last managed to restart my walking therapy. Just round the block to start with now that my leg seems to be mending. Cardiac rehab classes will be starting soon I think so will need to get a bit fitter for that.

Had a real treat last night for tea. DS had gone fishing for a few hours and came home with a couple of beautiful trout. He doesn`t like it so I had some and put some in the freezer for another day. Little J thought he would just taste a wee bit as he`s never had it before. Little greedy guts decided he really liked it so he had half of mine. He wants to go fishing too and see if he can catch his own. He also thinks he`ll need a fishing rod .....DS went to the local Sunday market and bought a rod and reel today so that`ll be his Christmes pressie sorted.

Been cracking on with the woolly stuff so have an update.

    UPDATE

    4 HATS
    12 HEDGEHOGS
    1 BABY BLANKET

Off to update sig now before I forget.

PSSO- just added your total...........spready shows different totals to yours
hats are out by 2 (?) and hedgies total 49(?) we will be calling you Mrs Hedgiehog shortly.......Glad little J liked the trout - start them young with the fishing - especially when you need to put worms on hooks!!! ha ha
Sharon - well done on all those cardigans - smoking needles at your place.
MIOLIERE - lovely to see you are back even if you are skint - isn't that the whole reason for a holiday???
Twisted my ankle this morning so I have been confined to a chair - awe shame I have done so much knitting (that baby shawl) my left hand now has an ache so have called a halt for the night......will see what tomorrow brings. Its a public holiday here in France so I get an extra long weekend - I do need it tho' as the weeds are creeping all around me!
Loads of love and cuddles to you all.
