Oh Dawn - Caravan - lovely, the kids will just adore it - pink shmink - you can knock that down as you say with the blues/purples.I have an Axminster carpet does that count as being near where you will be?????
Mrs Moneypenny - good to hear that your DS is on the mend - oh the needles roll has a design fault - the scissors keep falling out - so when I get a bit more enthusiasm for the sweatshop I shall redesign a mark two version.
Glad I picked the right pattern for you Anne - they are so lovely I could knit the lot - but then wouldn't have time for all the other 'craftyness' I love to do
Kit1 - so sorry to read your news of your Dad, be kind and gentle with yourself, try and concentrate on the lovely things that you shared, it takes time to come to terms with it all. Glad to hear that the knitting is coming along tho'
If you open an account with flickr (its free - link below) you could then follow that load of instructions that I posted up for Anne.

F1 - kick up the bum................I have only one word to say to you SKYPE

Good morning everyone " new and Old!!""
What lovely newsy posts but I was sorry to read of your Dad kit1 adjusting is so hard but I am glad you are knitting as I find it do soothing.

ptbyay! I love to hear of your adventures and the van sounds great. We had he happiest time in our van when the children were little.
Hope the other van sells well.

f1 sorry about the weather and hope you manage to stay calm....ish with the op looming.

pssohope you are still being spoilt.

pippa thank you for your email. Reply on its way today. Your cruise sounds wonderful. And I bet both the blanket you finished for me and the latest one looks lovely. It's been very mixed weather here if that helps with missing us.

mrs Moneypennyso glad Ds is getting better. Poor lad . Tonsillitis is horrible especially when you are older.those dolls are wonderful. I bet they will be loved!

jeanyou sound as if you are firing on all cylinders and busier than ever. I hope your DS is coming on a visit thus summer.

Kathyhave you come out of that wool shop yet.

Well we had the most wonderful time with the family. Of course having the Dubai lot would have made it perfect but we very much enjoyed having 12 days of non stop activity. We really like Bernhard and they seem really happy together. He, off his own back brought me home three balls of yarn when out shopping so he went higher in my estimation!!!! Daughter thought it hilarious.

So now it's adjustment time again and the house seems way too quiet. I shall soon be banging the Hoover about which is my antidote to missing people.

William is still not walking very much but swimming every day and riding his trike so all that will help. They had a fantastic anniversary weekend away and to see their happy pictures made my day. I can't wait to see them next month.... It has seemed eternal.

    Love to one and all.
Try and do a good deed every day.

Roamin thank you so much for the flicker link, I iddnt know I had an account on there and found a copy of my favourite pic of Dgs which is (for some reason) much better than the one I have.

Im soooo busy here, working on a makeover of the end of my back garden, newly reclaimed from behind a fence the council put up years ago and took down last year. Dgs even helped me pull up the grass that appeared under the bird feeders. I have started a patchwork quilt for when my Ds starts his family ( next year x fingers) Im working on lots of bits and pieces ahead of time.

Just come back from hospital where OH had a set of injections next to his spine to cure a nagging pain he has in his groin. It went well although it wont cure the nerve damage pain it will make him more comfy. He is now on 24 hour bed rest so I am going to sit and crochet a blanket for darling little girl who has a lot of trials in her tiny life. Her family have just got a new council house fit for her and her brothers needs so I think a nice blanket will be good for her new bedroom, then I will do him one too.

I have finished 2ducks but cant get out to leave them anywhere so I think I will leave them at the childrens department at the hospital next time we go.

Chalky am so excited for you after your visit from your daughter and the prospect of William coming over soon.

Ptb I have caravan envy, I would truly love one.

F1 good luck for hubbys op, will be thinking of you xx

Glad your son is improving Mrs Mp tonsilitis is terrible in adults and bad enough in littlies.

Psso take it easy hunny hope you are feeling good.

    Hugs to all xx

    Hello all,sorry I haven't been about for a while.
Had a bit of a setback I'm afraid.

The first lot of antibiotics were causing problems with horrible side effects, the second lot wouldn't stay down but luckily the third lot seem to be working. Leg is not nearly as red and fiery looking now. Nurse has been checking it every couple of days and is happy with it.

Been rather under the weather for a few days and sorry for myself but hopefully things will improve now. Got to the stage that I was wondering whether it was worth having the op as I was feeling so blooming rotten, worse than I was before.
Never mind, the optimistic streak is emerging again and I have picked up my needles so must be on the right track.

Ptb, I also have caravan envy. I really miss not having a van nowadays. Loved packing things up for weekends away and longer holidays. Used to have so much fun when the family were young. Didn't always go far away but, WE WERE AWAY FROM HOME. Think I should have been a gypsy.

Chalky, you've waved off one lot of family, now you have to restock ready for the next lot of visitors. They will be here before you know it.

Roamin, nice fresh bedroom for your DS coming for le tour. How is the tunnel ?

Ginny, an extra bit of garden will be handy. More veggies?

Wonder if Kathy's favourite wool shop needs restocking yet ?

Had a wee trip to the library today so off to plug in an audiobook and do a bit of knitting.

    Have a good day.

PSSO the strawberries are delish - but the wee white neeps (turnips) are even more delish. Baby plants in the greenie awaiting me popping them into the tunnel I abandoned the lettuce in the guttering it wasn't happy !

Lovely to hear you are having apple trees ginny - we bought a couple of Bramleys last year to replace a couple that got "dug out" - we suspect our biggest dog - who loves to hunt any wee creatures burrowing, but she denied it. is your Flickr public? give us a link we all love a nose around cyber space.

Chalky I always keep all the cleaning jobs till people leave - so I can get my mindset back into other stuff. DH is off to the UK early July then he and DS will be back to follow the fellas on bikes - oh joy - have my PJ's ready for that one as well as a stock of yarn!!

Can't find where I put the valcro MRS MONEYPENNY but liking the way you think

F1 will look for you on SKIPPIE as and when I ma on a pooter logged in - will catch up with you sometime.

AND BEFORE KATHY BREAKS OUT OF THE YARN STORE AND HITS ME - UPDATE SPREADY on the link below I hope someone is feeding her in there??
