That's interesting to know that you've secured the only kitchen job that doesn't require basic French. Doesn't exist. We are getting ourselves in a pickle now, aren't we? What happened to all the knives and new whites then?
    :rotfl:

2years ago i bought my own whites and knives.

my whites have shrunk a little in the wash over the past couple of years, im a growing lad.

my boning, chefs, serated and palet knife have been stolen from me (from cheltenham racecourse)
1 one my aprons and my hats got stolen too.

my whites have a few stains on them from peppers, strawberrys, garam masala and other foods, it doesnt look very professional.

my kitchen shoes are damaged from working at the racecourse.

i was told at the hotel that i dont need to speak any other language as they all speak english and french wouldnt be required, but a bonus.

anymore questions, tbh, i dont know why im explaining myself to you:undecided

I believe that the car is more of a WANT than a need, and if I am picking up your posts correctly you have not even got a license yet. And also want to use the loan for lessons.
What you should be doing is working a 2nd job regardless of what it is. I was in college and on top of the course work that needed done, worked 2 extra bar jobs to afford materials. Also public transport relied on to get to and from the college and work, at least 3 buses.
Your posts on here are making you seem immature, and leading a life where you are lifted and layed.

sorry if my posts make me seem immature, some of them members on here made me a little angry at them.

i agree a car is a want, but its sort of a must. i do want a job, any job, but there simply isnt any suitable jobs for me, most being to far away, can only do weekends ect, when i lived in town i handed in 50 cvs and only got one interview which wasnt succesful.

i just want to get this particular job as it is a window into more highend jobs for me.

if you knew my situation and my background, maybe you'd understand where im coming from, but im not going to go into that.

Yes, just one - in a previous post you said that french wasn't mentioned at all, now you're saying that it was. Which is it?;)

Well in the current climate alot more people are applying to jobs that they are over qualified for and obviously get 1st selection. But bars always need glass collectors, thats where I started.
Also if there are a few other people going to and from the area, be it by themselves or with their parents, then you could possibly throw them a few shillings to get a lift to and from.
Now I understand that they may not be going directly to where you need to go, but almost definately going to an area with more reliable public transport.

How did you get to the day course? I cannot drive, but it has never stopped me getting anywhere.

    Which college are you at?
    Gone ... or have I?

You'll just have to get a job and save up like the rest of us, because no bank will give you a loan if you ain't in work.
