Student Loans

i have been searching online everywhere for loans for students,i found thousands of pages for loans for Uni students but not for college students.

i am wanting to borrow a few thousand to pay for my chef whites, new, decent knife set, a car, lessons, insurance ect as im in a bit of a vicous circle. i have no job and im REALLY, REALLY wanting to get back into work as i hate it when there is nothing to do or im not rushed of my feet. i love being a chef and i cannot do what i love as there is simply no Catering jobs in my town, however, there are loads in the places around me, like Bristol, Cheltenham ECT. but there is very unreliable and limited travle to and from these places. i need a loan to get me a cheap car that would get me to work and back. a car would help make my future basically and i need a loan for that.

i want one of those loans that you dont start paying it back untill you are in work. does anyone know of any sort of loan that i would be elligable?

here are some factors to consider:
. I'm 18
. Im in my second year at college studying my Level 2 diploma and am going on to my level 3 in sept
. I live in a council house with my mother
. She gets child tax credits for me
. our household income is less than £15,000

anymore info needed just ask!

Thanks to anyone that could help! :j

I dont think you read the whole OP, because i need the load to fund a car so i could get to work.

There is no work in my industry near me, my course leader stated she knows alot of hotels and reastruants are looking for commis chefs but there is no way of getting there, thats why i need a loan to get a job.

    Thanks for replying

The OP is looking for a commercial loan, so I doubt it.

He simply expects life to be laid out on a Red Carpet so it going to keep on asking the same question until comeone gives him a big cuddle and a generous handout.

Get off your backside and go and find work!!

Oh dear. If you're going to insult someone could you please use a bit of wit instead?

The fact is that you want something that isn't available to you and you refuse to work to get it instead.
