Our Garden Before & After

This is our second year of growing vegetables. Our first year was a late starter, and very unplanned, so unfortunately we didn't get much to grow.

This year, we started planning early, and decided to make a few changes to the garden. We started fiddling with it all back in February, and we've just about got it to where we wanted it to be, so I thought I'd put up some photos to show that you CAN do something with a very small back yard!

We did everything ourselves... well, I say WE, my OH did all of the structural work, so I think the credit should go to him! I just potted about with a few seeds and picked the paint.

We spend so much time out in the garden now (basically whenever it is not raining), and get absolute joy from it. We are so glad we put the effort in to convert a back yard into a garden, and I really hope this encourages other people with "a pokey backyard" to make the most of what they have :)

    Absolute Wow! Love your garden.

I often say to my husband when we are out walking, it is such a shame how many people take for granted the space they have. You see huge run-down gardens with dilapidated sheds, overgrown weeds, nothing is cared for and it frustrates me to see that some do not appreciate the potential they have and the beauty they could create.

I can tell quite easilly how much you appreciate your outside space, and well done to you both.
