  • The dwp debt managegment have nicely attatched a giro slip at the bottom of the page to pay this debt.So if she doesnt pay back the debt when she dies and assuming she has no other assets the debt will be then dead or will it pass to a family member. I will seek legal advice, they cannot PRESUME that she had this money. I want evidence. I hope that this case does goes to court and it will be proven that her income support should not have been closed.

Has she applied for Income Support again? The claim is taken from the first contact with them so she could be losing money if she hasn't.
    Torgwen.......... :) ...........
  • the dwp have telephoned tonight after i sought help from my mp, i am confused totally. A letter was sent within the first month to ask for them to look at thier decision again, it states in this booklet to sent the letter to the department that has sent you the letter saying that income support has stopped. This was done within the time frame and a letter was sent out confirming they had the letter and they would respond after they get all the documents and look at the decision again. These documents i still have. Now it seems that the letter i sent has vanished and we are not in the time frame. This person from debt management has now said that the decision maker will look tomorrow at the letter i sent to my mp asking him for his help on behalf of my sister and they will look at this on the basis of my letter to the mp. It is all very odd at this moment.I was informed by her that she would telephone me again tomorrow with the desicion, i dint think that they would tell you a big desicion like this over the telephone. I asked why had a new claim for her that we put in 5 weeks ago for income support after i had spent half hour on the phone with them. has never been aknowleged, she had a look on her screen and said oh it looks like an outbound telephone call didnt go out and that my sister should apply again for income support and base it that she has no savings. This is very odd and i cant understand what is going on at all. Im loosing my mind or maybe they have lost thier minds at thier end

I'm totally confused now as in your earlier posts you refer to her as your daughter, now in your last post you refer to her as your sister?
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

    chel1234,

People are not being funny with you, they are just confused as to what you have put. If you clarify the situation I am sure the thread will get back on track.
    Gone ... or have I?
