I made Raspberry Vodka this summer as a pressie for inlaws. I am not a fan of vodka and I don't like raspberries, HOWEVER, we drunk the lot- it was delicious!!:o0

Hi, I made this today and wonder how long I need to keep it before it is fully 'fermented' (she mentioned on the show that the sugar turns to alcohol so I guess there must be some sort of fermentation involved?)
Any advice gratefully received - by the way, I used frozed raspberries - no probs at all.

Using this recipe (got from somewhere on this site!)
8 fl oz water
6 oz sugar
4 tsps coffee
Boiled together for 10 minutes
When cooled add 8 fl oz rum and 4 tsps vanilla food flavouring.....
It smells really lovely - it has to be left for about a week - cant wait!
And the best bit about it is I costed it on mysupermarket and it comes out as a few pennies under £5!
