Could you make it now and bottle it when the bottles arrive?

Of course, my brain doesn't seem to be fully functioning at the moment. I have to mix it up in another bottle anyway don't I.:o

I made Raspberry Vodka this summer as a pressie for inlaws. I am not a fan of vodka and I don't like raspberries, HOWEVER, we drunk the lot- it was delicious!!:o
  • Hi, I made this today and wonder how long I need to keep it before it is fully 'fermented' (she mentioned on the show that the sugar turns to alcohol so I guess there must be some sort of fermentation involved?)
Any advice gratefully received - by the way, I used frozed raspberries - no probs at all.

  • Using this recipe (got from somewhere on this site!)

    8 fl oz water
    6 oz sugar
    4 tsps coffee

    Boiled together for 10 minutes

When cooled add 8 fl oz rum and 4 tsps vanilla food flavouring.....

It smells really lovely - it has to be left for about a week - cant wait!

And the best bit about it is I costed it on mysupermarket and it comes out as a few pennies under £5!

    Fab!

Oh wow, must try this sometime. I love Tia Maria.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread to keep ideas together :)
