OMG can't believe i've not posted this week, been so busy with work and children seemed to have had loads on with parties, school activitieshad a mountain of baking to do for a cake sale and then DD need a costume making for a school play that she is involved with, feels like its been a manic week, my house looks like a bomb has gone off and i feel like a zombie.
Well was a bit of a spend day yesterday, dentist cost me £16.50 i wa sonly in there all of 5 mins, teeth are fine so at least i don't need anything doing, rewarded myself with cream cakes from bakers so £2.50 spent there, nipped into co-op and spent another £24. £20 on petrol as well.
Pay Day today so this weekend need to withdraw money and sort out envelopes for the month.
KAT- goodluck with the potty training, at least that will be some money saved once you don't have to buy nappies.0 -
Just bought miele hoover bags on ebay £6.28 so spent so far today.0

I think the cream cakes were well deserved - think the dentist would say otherwise :rotfl:

Not a good day moneywise, forgot lunch this morning as kids were being little beggers and i was stressed out , so spent £2.27 on lunch.
Nipped to Tesco after work stupidly with kids in tow, only needed some guinea pig food and ended up spending £26:eek: some of this was alcohol as had one of those days at home and work and feel like i deserve it.
Work was stressful today but on a positive note i worked through my morning break and half of my lunch time to get caught up with some bits, which i feel better about as it was niggling at me, i want to relax during the easter holidays and have things sorted out for work before we break up,i will need to be very organised next week:eek:.
Postie brought me a box of dishwasher tablets today these are to be tested for a survey company and will save me needing to buy them during April, will have a look how much they are later and transfer half the money to debt and half to holiday fund, also a letter from Very catalogue to let me know they have put my credit limit up to £2400, i don't think so the apr is around 30%.
P!$$ed off with surveys had 16 in my inbox and started all of them and qualified for one what a waste of time, also annoying as none are near payout so know that this month will not have much extra coming in.0 -

MOrning guys,
Feeling a little low today have just found out that my cousins dad has died, i suppose you would say he was my uncle really as he was married to my aunty but they divorced when i was little and therefore never really new him or saw him iykwim, brought back the memories of my dad and also he was only 51 which is no age, just makes me feel sad and think i should enjoy what i have.
Another mad day yesterday, work and took kids to the library, did manage a NSD though.
So far today i have transfered quidco money into holiday account recieved £17. 59 so rounded it up to £20.
Hubby has nipped to Focus to buy a hinge for a cupboard door that needs fixing so told him to fill my car with petrol as he goes past morrisons and its about £1.28 there at the minute, also needed some loo rolls and wine will update how much he spends later.0 -
Had a lovely mothers day yesterday, children had made cards, i got my fave chocs and a smelly set, bless as i opened it DD said it was in the sale mum i didn't let dad pay full price:rotfl:training that child well.
Hubby decided to cook last night as he had invited his mum around the plank was all for going to Tesco and buying stuff, anyway talked him into checking out the cupboards and freezer and he managed to make a meal with only having to go and buy potatoes, lovely pork roast dinner and strawberries and meringues for pud, he couldn't believe we had everything in to knock up a meal, what the hell does he think i do:mad:.
Just this week to go at work and then break up for Easter hols, hope it will be a quiet week and not to much bother, might spend my breaks in the computer room pretending to be doing work, 1 i don't want to hear the b!t(hing and sniping and 2 means i avoid head and hopefully get away without a load of work being dumped on me and can have a quiet Easter hols.0 -

Your holiday fund is looking good, I need to start saving for my 40th birthday city break, its only a few years away but if I start saving the odd tenner it will all build up.
