Hi there..
You need to take the luck when you can PWPS!! I once got 6 bottles of wine but was told by delivery guy not to worry..a Christmas bonus!
I could do With that cheese...for the first time ever in my house we are out of it! Trying hard not to buy anything before end of month..but have feeling I will capitulate sometime as I love it!
PWD..we have just opened a children's saver account with Halifax and it's 6% gross ( as she's not a tax payer).. Did you need to have the account in your name cos if not this might be a better paying one.
Have a great day..what are you baking? We are currently trying out croissants and did those amazing raspberry and White chocolate cookies with condensed milk yesterday..they are my favouritest cookies ever!

Good afternoon.
As we never got around to visiting gran yesterday we went around today, lovely to see her and think it brightened her up to see the children as she has been poorly, she sent me home with goodies, big bag of sweets for the kids which will be rationed, M&S lemon cake yumyum, bag rice, bag pasta and 2 pots of double cream, going to use pasta, cream and free cheese to make a pasta bake for tomorrows tea so a free meal yeah:D.
Made choccie cakes today for lunch boxes.
Never got around to painting the dining room, never mind not the end of the world and it will wait for easter hols0 -
Hi PWPS
Lurker popping out again.
From reading your diary it has inspired me to keep track of my elec usage as it is too high so I started 2 weeks ago, last week I kept things normal but this week I have tried to reduce so just about to input my readings for today.
Anyway what I noticed was that you're with Scottish Power - is that right? If you are can you tell me what tariff you are on as I noticed that you can input your readings weekly.
Our tariff is Fix n Flex April 2011 so from 1st April this finishes and we are swopping to standard dd tariff but if I enter meter readings they don't do anything with the info unless it is just after an estimated bill.
At the moment I am using i-measure but ideally would like to be able to enter my readings straight onto SP's website every week.
Thanks

Hi EE, I'm on a fixed tariff with SP until 2012, i only get online statements and just log into my account online and enter meter readings and can compare last years useage etc.0

but I have managed to widdle the heating down to 16 deg apart from in the morn i boost it for half n hour wen up if need be. switch off the power points when not in use and we all share the bathwater....is this boggin?! lol...kids first then me then hubby - he some how always manages to have a never ending supply of fluff from his socks!!! TMI?!
well done on the free dinner pwps!! same here HEHE :cool:0 -
Hi Pennywise
I wouldn't be feeling guilty about having extra cheese delivered either, Mr Ts makes enough profit from us all so they're not going to suffer. You can actually freeze cheese, Ive done it a few times.
Brizzledfw - those cookies sounded good, I might just have to look a recipe up.
Have a great night xx0 -
Hi choogirl.. Nestle carnation milk recipe...I recommend it! And I guess the raspberries could count as 1 of your 5 a day!! ;-)
PWPS..do you always do cakes for lunch boxes? Generally what's in your kids boxes...we find it hard to keep them interesting but cheap? So keen to hear if you think you've cracked it

Just keep lunch boxes simple, they have them 3 days a week and the other 2 a hot school meal.
Generally they have a sandwich or wrap sometimes pasta salad, litle tub of grapes/satsumas or mixed veg sticks, yoghurt or a HM jelly bought some little jelly moulds with lids from a$da and they are brill and HM cake/biscuit, sometimes cheese and crackers, i don't buy things like dairylea dunkers etc and lucky that my kids are quite happy to eat a simple lunch everyday and i usually ask them the night before do they want jelly or yoghurt, ham or tuna in sandwiches etc lets them think they are controling what they eat;).0 -
That's a great idea PWPS - thought about cheese scones instead of bread to use up some of the cheeseLoan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off.
