Feeling brighter today, even though the weather is pants, has rained non stop today and feels really cold and damp, log burner is roaring but house still isn't getting warm, determined not to put CH on though;).
Been and posted ebay parcel and listed another item on ebay, have done a couple of surveys, non of the sites are close to paying out threshold at the moment which is a bit dissappointing:(.
Done a budget for Next month, going to try doing a weekly shop and see how we get on that way as i seem to be overspending on the groceries:mad:.
Listed another item on ebay, don't expect to get much for it but anything is better than it just sitting around gathering dust.
Nothing else to declare, hope everone is bright and breezy today, off to catch up on other diaries.0 -
Afternoon Missy!
Weather is rotten here too - always is (West of Scotland!).
Have you ever done online grocery shopping - I feel that I save a fortune doing it. I always do ASDA - costs £3 for delivery but in this day and age you spend that on petrol going to the supermarket!
Hope the weather cheers up for you later on.

Yes i do sometimes do online shopping, have a online code ofr Tesco so gonna use that next week, but also want to try and get into using lidll, just need to get myself organised, write my meal plans for the week and do my shopping around that.
I'm in Lancashire so assme all the west coast is being hit with lousy weather today.
Hubby was on about weather last night and was saying he was talking to a mate of his about canada geese (don't ask me why), anyway apparently they migrate south to UK when it gets too cold in the north for them, last year they arrived a week earlier than any other year, this year they are here already and thats 3 weeks early and according to hubbies mate this is a sure sign that we are in for a really cold winter, just hope the birdies are wrong and fancied a change of scenery:rotfl:.0 -
Just when i was saying i was nowhere near payout on any survey site i've managed to complete a survey and withdraw £4 into Paypal:D, have already got a bid on item i put on ebay before only 99p, but it all helps and DS scalextric has just been delivered had to sneakily get it upstairs, luckily he was watching horrid henry so oblivious to it:), have to say it looks really good and even better cos its not cost me anything:j, well just the time doing surveys.0

Just had a play around with mortgage overpayment calculator, worked out if i was throwing the money i am paying off debts of my mortgage every month, i would only have 13 more years max of paying mortgage instead of 20, really need to get my @r$e into gear and get this debt paid off, i want the security of owning my home and not renting it off the bank.0

Is nice that she wants to she kids but she is a major clean freak so i know am running around the house like a headless chicken trying to get cleaned up and as you can imagine with 2 small children following you around undoing it all its slightly stressful, also hubby has b*gg£r£d off out leaving it to me, just really stressed cos i work everyday and like to spend first couple of days of hols with kids making stuff, baking etc and now feel like i'm shounting at them and telling them not to make a mess, his aunty doesn't work so doesn't get it and i'm also just not feeling myself at the moment and quite honestly just want to be left alone except for kids/OH and peeps on mse, feel like telling people to !!!!!! off and let me just relax in my own home i do not want to entertain, i want to stay in my jammies till lunch time. Now sat crying and i need to bake as will need to feed them:(.

Mortgage Free Wannabee!
:rotfl:0 -
:DMorning guys, yes i sooooooooo wanna be mortgage free but have to get debt free first, which of course is easier said than done.
Have worked out spending budget for next month, looks ok but not much cash spare and i'm sure what is spare will get eaten away.
Did a survey first thing this morning so should get £4 for that, it should hit paypal either tommorrow or Friday, nearly £20 in there now so when it does get to that will withdraw it. Had another 8 surveys all of which i was screened out of when i got half way through them:mad:.
Plans for today involve doing very little, may do some baking later if i can be bothered. Feel a vegging out watching carp on tv day is in order:), and postie not been yet, its sad when you get to the point where you see the little red van at the bottom of the road and keep looing out the window to see if he's nearly at your house, cos your really excited about getting bills and freebies (i really need to get a life).0
