Doesn't look like the situation is going to get better anytime soon.

The price of crude oil is just below $108 a barrel having set record highs five times in six trading sessions.
New York sweet light crude was at $107.85, having set a record of $108.21 on Monday. London Brent was at $104.08, down from Monday's high of $104.82.
Recent rises are being attributed to the falling value of the US dollar against the yen and the euro.
Some investors are buying oil, which is seen keeping its vaule, to protect themselves against the weaker dollar. Analysts are predicting that the dollar will weaken further if interest rates are cut again on 18 March.0 -

In fairness we have a Rayburn which is on 24/7 and it only provides cooking and hot water. The other boiler provides the central heating.0

Since I posted the message above (a bit earlier today) oil has reached yet another record high of $109.20 a barrel.0

We have two, one with a back boiler, but haven't used them (lived here over 10 years). Maybe worth getting the chimneys cleaned and back boiler checked and investing in some coal...mmm...I wonder.butterfly )i(0
