Has anyone noticed how much Maxol prices vary according to which depot you are nearest? Belfast and Ballymena £283 for 1000 litres, Enniskillen £300 for 1000?

    Glad I live near Ballymena!
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
  • Not sure whether this lisk has been posted here yet but it is useful for benching marking the price of oil

The valueoils seems good, especially since actually getting less oil doen't mean a higher price per litre (like most things these days, you need to read the T&C - 55p per min to call them - reminds me of easyJet's model). Maxol is still the cheapest for me (900 litres - I may fit in 1000, but don't want to risk it).
Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!
  • Noticed that Maxol are now charging nearly £288 for 1000 litres.
There are website links for other oil distributors in NI within https://www.nioil.com [some of these have ready reckoners].

Just ordered 900l from Hayes for 259.
Shopped around the usual suspects (maxol,valueoils...etc) but this was the best price.

anyone else think http://www.nicholloils.com are completely missing the point ?
To order online you have to create an account - even to check the price :-(
similarly with http://www.meekin.co.uk/ but they have and 'under construction' excuse.
I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them
  • 500l through cheaperoil.com, came from Nicholls cost £147
