Quick ring around for 900 ltrs, Carryduff area:
Hayes £295
Knockbracken £320
Carlisle £3090 -
This is my first post... so here goes.
The last two times I've ordered oil (most recent being this week) I've phoned around, and found that Gransha (9182 0484) in Newtwonards has been the best price in the area. I normally get my oil from Hylands in Dundonald (as I know they are reliable, and you can defer payment for up to 10 days before the price increases).
Gransha quoted £295 for 900 litres... Hylands £299, but matched £295 when I told them about Gransha.0 -

Thanks for the site I will keep a watch on it in the next few weeks. I have been away for about 3 years and your £ certianly doesn't buy as much oil as when I left.0 -
I can confirm price yesterday at £297 for 900 litres and £174 for 500 litres. Unless something untoward happens IMHO prices should remain reasonably static for the next month or so and then slowly drop as demand decreases.0

Untoward is currently happening with Iran. There is a threat of sanctions against them, which has caused fear of them cutting back on oil production. This has caused the price of crude to rise and inevitably will have an affect on all oil products. Therefore prices ARE likely to rise, in the short term at least.0

She went to £300 after I said Andrews were £297
