Couple of UU this week, handwash, showergel and kids finished 2 separate toothpastes and I used up a couple of samples from my stash.
On getting new toothpastes from my stash I was down to the last 2 packs so I have bought 2 more packs to replace, one macleans @ 97p in Morrions and one for 98p in Quality Save, less than 1/2 the prices of the big 4.
I still have 5 Sensodyne Pronamel in my stash from when I found them for £1 a tube in Tesco last year, but no way are the kids using these they are all mine:D In case anyone uses Sensodyne Pronamel this was on offer in morrisons when I went in I think it was half price, definitely cheaper than any of the big 4.
Also got 2 Barry M dazzle eye shadows free from More mag. I buy for DD anyway so no actual spend for the first one, DD texted me on Tuesday to buy this for her and only told me after I bought it she had a moc for 70p off this weeks:mad: Got the first Barry M freebie, but so many nice colours I decided to purchase another another mag using the moc to get another freebie, so actual spend 80p.0 -

I did buy a big bottle of pantene shine shampoo and conditioner for £2 each in Mr A's. Technically i didn't really need them but....0 -

Finished a Botanics shave gel on my legs last night. Didn't like it, thought it was unpleasantly sticky, but it is intended for men, so I suppose I can't complain!
oh heck i've just found one of those in a gift set bought for OH two christmases ago and i thought i'd use it as i know he never would. I can but give it a go.
We're taking the face wash on hols with us i've 'persuaded' OH that it's just shower get in disguise as it's a smaller bottle than what he was going to pack. Devious moi???0 -

Evening all, another small use up to report. The hand cream finally ran out last night. It was spluttering a week ago but I couldn't believe how much was left when I cut open the tube. I've no idea what it was as it was a trial I was asked to complete, but I wouldn't buy it anyway as it was too watery for my liking.
I also opened a new Radox handwash recently and think I may be converted from my long term favourite, Carex Soothing. It's called Radox Clean & Nourish with shea butter and ginger and it smells gorgeous.
I have also finally begun my list. It is truly shocking! :embarasseTime may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
[Went into work and spread the word around and after trying the It Stick on my hand decided to get a copy of the mag with it on. I usually use Erase Paste so have saved myself £16.50 (£18.50 cost of Erase Paste less £2.00 for the mag). QUOTE]
Hi Valm
Is the It Stick a concealer and is it just for under eyes or for blemishes? I picked up the magazine with this freebie but was unsure what the concealer was intended for so put it down!
I went into Boots to see if I could find a tester for the It Stick but the branch I went into doesn't sell this brand. While I was there though I saw lots of stuff I wanted to buy. I'm a sucker for the bargains and was seriously tempted by Elle McPherson foot butter (a large tube for £2 as her range is currently half price). I managed to resist as I might possibly have a small tube of this and thought I ought to check first. If I haven't got some I might be tempted next time I'm in Boots.
I did give in to buying some Extracts Bergamot Body Butter. This is one of my faves and currently has a third off the price. I only bought a small tub though at £1.66. Apart from this, my spending for the month is only 13p over budget:
Aloe 99 gel x 2 from Holland and Barrett: £5.98
Olay Regenerist Precision cleansing cloths £2.49 (after using voucher). This was 50p cheaper than I had budgeted for
Extracts Bergamot Body Butter £1.66.
I had thought I might need to buy a 99p deodrant but there is loads left of the one I'm using and I think it will hold out until July.0 -
Hi all
not had any UU as I had just started quite a lot of new tubes in May so working through those. However did manage a couple of giveaways. 3 x lip gloss to my childminder as I don't use them and have about 6 in my stock and she was just saying the other day that she would need to go out and get some new ones. Also managed to give away a couple of new clinique toners and a clinique soap which I have had for a while but still sealed to my aunt as I can't use it on my skin anymore and she uses it all the time. So stash has gone down even though I haven't used anything up:T
Was contemplating buying a sanctury body souffle to get the GWP but decided against it as I still have one body moisturiser left plus 4 cellulite firming creams (which I figure can't go wrong on other parts of my body:rotfl:) and a couple of tanning moisturisers.0 -
 UU I've used a up my last tiny 5ml Ren Calendula and Arctic Berry ultracalm cleansing milk this morning. I'm going to try and use up a few more samples before I open another full size cleanser. WIBA? I think so, it leaves a light moisturising residue on the skin, it's not heavy or suffocating so I think I'd buy it again. I pretty much love all of the Ren Cleansers. Also finished a sample size of Jo Malone Grapefruit Cologne, and an Armani Code sample size. WIBA? Will do at some point yeah. I love them both.
Everywhere I've been the Glamour Magazine is conspicuous by it's absence, and I've managed to resist the Cowshed shower gel offer and the Jemma Kidd Lip Gloss too so I still haven't bought anything this month.
It was my birthday this week though so I've got a Mally Beauty Tribeca Taupes eyeshadow palette, and a Jemma Kidd brow kit to add to my collection. :eek:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0
