Would love reviews of the magazine goodies this month please.
My cat and I (yes, my cat) had a bath with the dregs of some bath oil this morning...this is a this years purchase hurrah, I can't remember the brand but its a modern aromathery thing new at ou local boots this New Year and the scent was called ''Good Balance'' and it really was lovely, very uplifting. I will almost certainly buy this again: I like oils, and this was a fresh, uplifting but not cleaning agenty scent.
I chucked a Sally hansen nail hardener...too gloopy. I found it behind a radiator, so ...not surprising really.0 -
Hi everyone, I've been massively busy lately, but do remember using some stuff up - can't really remember what, though! None of it worth buying again, so never mind. Haven't bought anything recently except for 3 Glamour magazines this morning :rotfl: The Botanics BB is still going strong  On my last of the old-style Lipliciouses now, and utterly bored with them, so hopefully that'll be the next thing I use up.
I may have accidentally bought 3 Glamour mags today.... then got home to find that I doubled up on the Bad Gal eyeliner, so think that can be ebayed....
well done everyone for all your useups, and THANKYOU (whoever it was, Im rubbish and Ive forgotten already!!) for the explanation of Oil Cleansing - I didnt understand either, but I might give it a go !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
oil cleansing most certainly doesn't suit everyone. Certainly some have reported on the OCM thread here tht they have had to give up, and have horrid boil type spots. i find it good, but not perfect. My pores are now usually invisible, I have no more ''face dandruff'' and infct my skin is pretty great....firmer, and glowing...but I still do get spots. I only started getting spots in recent years, and its very frustrating. They do usually heal quite quickly with OCM, but I still wish I weren't getting them!0

I'm a newbie here, hi! :hello:
I definitely need to join this group! I buy waay too much.
I went to 3 stores today to look for the glamour magazines but most were sold out and the one that still had magazines left only had the It Stick - I want the Eye Bright!
Having used the It Stick today, I am pleasantly surprised. It looks like it would be uncomfortable to use (like it might drag on the skin), but it glides smoothly, and conceals and brightens nicely (Although it's a tad light...so medium and darker skin tones beware). Should I invest in some more?! Will I even use this one all up?
My "back ups" drawer is already full0 -
Woohoo:j
I've got my first UU's to report:-
Dove spray deo - WIBA only if on offer I always go back to my soft and gentle stick (prefer this to roll ons). Although it's getting harder to find it now.
Pantene clarifying shampoo - WIBA - not unless on offer - I have greasy hair and found this no help at all - the only thing it dried was my scalp so now have dandruff too
My Eternity perfume is on it's last legs so will be gone by the end of the week - WIBA - no but only cause I already have another 2 bottles that were BOGOF at the airport recently:j
Also scrapping out my boots time delay night serum - cant believe how much is left in the bottle when the pump gives up - WIBA - oh yes - especially with the boots voucher.
Finally have a prehistoric handwash that wont see the week out in the bathroom :T . Just need ideas on how to use the matching hand cream up now - that bottles hardly been touched:rotfl:Save money on toiletries: no new/duplicate items until I've used up all existing supplies

UU to report, only a basic Asda shower gel, bought in an emergency, ages ago. Decided to get it used up and because its pretty thin it didn't take too long :T
WIBA? Probably not, even tho it was only 8p!!
Now to decide which of the other 14 bodywashes to start next!:o0 -
I've got two UUs to report of items that are among my favourites! Natural Collection Rosemary and Witch Hazel face wipes. WIBA? Yes. I think they would be a love or hate thing to most people as they smell a bit like vic and are good to use when you have a cold! I wouldn't buy them at their normal price - I've only ever bought these when they are on offer. I'm only left with Tesco wipes now (a few packets to go) but I've also got face wash in stock and so I'm not planning to buy wipes for some time yet.
I think I have one more use left of Charles Worthington Results Take Aways Shine On Body-Booster and Shine Mousse. WIBA? Yes. This is my favourite mousse. It is not always easy to find this one now (light green can) and I think I tend to get the take away size from Bodycare for £1 but it does seem to last for ages. I have got other mousses to use before I go buying another one though. The next one I shall use up is another Charles Worthington one in a red can (for volume I think), which is a travel size that doesn't have much left in it - I must have got fed up with it at some point and switched over to my fave!0 -
Forgot to say that when I had a sort through of some toiletries at the weekend, I came across a lovely smelling rosehip soap. As I am unlikely to be using this for some time, I put it in my blanket box to give a fragrance to clean sheets and duvet covers. All of my other soaps are in use in a similar way too, either at the bottom of wardrobes or in my underwear drawers! In this way they have another life before they enter the bathroom and you don't feel as if they are going to waste!0

Fixx - Thanks for the explaination! I'll give it a go soon. Sounds good. :T
I'm away for two weeks on Thurs so I'm thinking of buying a little Liz Earle (always good to my skin) travel set... I used to buy the cleanse/polish full size set and stopped because of the money. I think I might treat myselfI don't have any in my stash to use so I'm allowed!
UU! Woo! BS Carrot Moisturiser. WIBA? Yes! It's brill. Smells beaut and excellent as a facial moisturiser - I need a rich one so for those in need of a light one, it would be better as a night cream maybe. I'm sure I have another UU, I'll rmbr it when I've logged off!
See you all later0 -
A UU to report - a hotel bathroom sized shower gel, i think from a hotel I stayed at in Nashville for a Conference two years ago!
I think I have a couple more of these to use up so will have a root through tonight before restarting on the bottle from Malmaison!
Also, just to say that myself and fixx have agreed on a Glamour product swap so to ignore my previous postMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
