UU'd a smal sample of BS Seaweed Moisturiser - WIBA? - possibly. It went on and sank in beautifully - and really seemed to do its job, however if used over serum or if I left it too long before putting foundation on top I did find that it "bobbled up" a bit and I found little bits of it "rolling off" my face if you know what I mean? Once you get used to that it's a really nice product though.

Lynseydee - well done for resisting! You're right, you don;t need to add to that shower gel stash. I can't remember what was on your list but why not go through and see if there is any one product in there that you REALLY want to go onto next - then put that out on the side as a motivator?

Finally used up my toothpaste on Saturday morning. Had already replaced on Monday so no need to go out in a panic.
Nothing else anywhere near that stage.
I need to start being really frugal now as I've asked to reduce my hours at work for a while. I've had a gutsful and think I would end up doing something silly like quitting if I don't cut down :(. Catch up soon, Kaz.

Hi, I'm another one with a box of these lurking. I think maybe you're right - that they are best for blonde hair. I'm a brunette too so will probably end up giving these away rather than using them for the sake of it. Has anyone here with blonde hair tried them? If so, what did you reckon?

Hi Pinkandwhites, you've given me food for thought on the Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Brightening Plus Hair Elixir Nourishing Treatment (what a mouthful!). I've decided to give my last box of these to a friend who has blonde hair. She has been having trouble with her hair recently and is looking at trying different hair products. It will give her the opportunity to experiment for free! Her teenage daughter also has blonde hair and so between them they could use these up quite quickly. They would hang around for ages if I kept them as there's no point in me using them and I'd feel wasteful throwing them away.

    Thanks EH

The thing is that most of my stash is Avon so will just have to keep plodding my way through and try to avoid temptations :)

On a good note, today I am going to Bath with my mum and we're having a one night spa break in a hotel down there so that's something to look forward to unless I fall in love with the products they use on my facial :rotfl:

No use-ups, but I've set myself a mini-challenge this week: to experiment (and make a big dent in!) my myriad of tanning lotions, self tan body lotions, and other related stuff - mostly as I have lots of events coming up over the next couple of months, and would like to have a nice healthy glow (not orange!) without subjecting myself to much sun damage...

So last night I did a serious exfoliation (and only just remembered in time that I already had a St. Tropez body scrub already open before opening a new S&G one :A) and sprayed myself with the St Tropez spray tan, before covering myself in body butter. Results? Quite a nice slightly bronzed colur, and no streaks - though not very dark, so we'll see how streaky I get with more on :rotfl:

I also did PYNS - a Bourjois hot pink, which looks pretty fab, and is brightening up my morning (though it's already slightly chipped, d'oh!)

Had a UU this morning: a phial of Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Brightening Plus Hair Elixir Nourishing Treatment. WIBA? Nooooo!! As far as toiletries go, this must be the biggest load of rubbish I've ever bought! There are four phials in a box and I've still got a box to go. I got these through a Boots glitch and I remember many others on the Boots thread who were also disappointed. You apply this after you have rinsed off conditioner but it really doesn't seem to do anything for my hair. I'm a brunette and I wonder whether it's better for blondes?

    .

Is it leave it or do you rinse it out again? I have some that needs using up too.
Hi all, sorry for all the separate posts - I haven't found out how to put several quotes from other people's posts into one reply yet, sorry!
    x

Next to the "quote" tab you are using at the moment is a picture of 2 balloons. If you click on that a tick will appear on the balloon, then read the next post and click the balloon in that if you want to reply or just go on to the next post. When you click reply at the end of the thread the separate posts will be in the reply box and you can multiquote.

Hope that makes sense, it's simple to do but kind of difficult to explain.

Still nothing purchased but I did just get a small win through the post - a Rimmel 123 Look Mascara. Will be interesting to see if it comes close to my usual Benefit Bad Gal.
