I've not even opened it yet, the packaging seems to imply its a small brush. Still got a Bad Gal open so was going to finish that off before starting the new one....but am going out tonight so might have to give it a quick try. :o

Still nothing purchased but I did just get a small win through the post - a Rimmel 123 Look Mascara. Will be interesting to see if it comes close to my usual Benefit Bad Gal.

I got the Rimmel 123 look mascara as well, have put it away for now so DD doesn't find! Also picked up 2 freebie channel mascaras yesterday as they had sent me a couple of emails to pick one up.

Finally gave in to the Glamour Benefit offer. I went to the Benefit counter yesterday and tested all 3 freebies and decided the only one I would use is the IT stick then typical couldn't find any Glamour mags anywhere!

Had another look today and eventually found one in a small Tesco Express.

I chucked lots and lots of hair stuff from the attic yesterday. In cluing a john frieda gold cream thataded a slight sparkle. i distinctly remember eeking this out, for ''best'' trying to make a frivolous purchase last. well, it lasted alright..what was left had set solid.

edit: and another attic find: Estee lauder Idealist Micro-D Deep thermal refinisher. I rememebr I was over enthusiastic with it before an really hurt myself. I remembered this having started using it. Still, it had certainly left me glowing. I'm going to hang on to this and try and remember to use it VERY lightly.

Hi Pinkandwhites, you've given me food for thought on the Umberto Giannini Spa Rituals Brightening Plus Hair Elixir Nourishing Treatment (what a mouthful!). I've decided to give my last box of these to a friend who has blonde hair. She has been having trouble with her hair recently and is looking at trying different hair products. It will give her the opportunity to experiment for free! Her teenage daughter also has blonde hair and so between them they could use these up quite quickly. They would hang around for ages if I kept them as there's no point in me using them and I'd feel wasteful throwing them away.

Is it leave it or do you rinse it out again? I have some that needs using up too.

    Hi Mags30

On the box instructions it says for finer and normal hair use instead of conditioner. For damaged and naturally dry hair use before conditioner. Leave for two to five minutes then rinse with warm water. I've just realised that on the last occasion I used it I applied it after I had rinsed off conditioner so that probably didn't help with the results! I'm sure when I first used the product though that I adhered to the instructions but still wasn't happy with the outcome!

Yesterday I was looking through some makeup I haven't started using yet and came across an FCUK clear lip gloss from a gift set which I decided to give a try. My lips looked fab - very glossy. I wore it on my way to work but decided it was more suitable for summer evenings out. I felt as though my lips were too glossy for work so I blotted some of it off but even so the gloss lasted for most of the morning. I was really impressed as I only usually apply vaseline! I must start experimenting with some coloured lip glosses I haven't used yet as well.

Evening Ladies! (where did our resident chap go by the way - anyone know? Did we scare him off?!)

Sorting through some makeup yesterday found a rather lovely and hardly used No 7 eye pallette thing is shades of lilac and blue - well, it was once lilac and blue, but the fine film of mildew covering it made it slightly hard to tell - so that one headed for the bin at speed.

Two more UU's to report - Boots Mediterranean Lemon, Orange and Grape shower gel - WIBA? - I would if I could, but I believe this range has been discontinued hasn't it? This was another clearance store bargain and was really nice - went well with the BS Lemon BB too! Also some Nail Varnish remover wipes - I think they were branded as "Fingertips". WIBA? - not a chance - they were awful! Their only plus point was that you had to rub so hard to get the varnish off with them that they doubled as nail buffers! Shall now continue with a S&G i-Foam for the shower I think - had this stashed for a while and dying to try it - and will switch back to good old Cutex nail varnish remover and cotton wool pads! I would guess I will be reporting a UU on the Clinique cleanser tomorrow night as it's seriously spluttering now.

Rosemary the Beauty Bible thing sounds interesting! Good on you for getting picked for it.
Fixx - that's a good idea - I have a can of self tanner somewhere that I nought to dig out.

Next to the "quote" tab you are using at the moment is a picture of 2 balloons. If you click on that a tick will appear on the balloon, then read the next post and click the balloon in that if you want to reply or just go on to the next post. When you click reply at the end of the thread the separate posts will be in the reply box and you can multiquote.

Hope that makes sense, it's simple to do but kind of difficult to explain.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one struggling with how to multi-quote. Thanks for your instructions - I have since mastered my first multi-quote (see above)!

Ladies, I have been a very bad Pickle. *Shakes head*

I bought all three of the Glamour magazines for the goodies inside (whoever it was above who said 'I went to the Benefit counter and tested the products', kudos for being more savvy than me!), and also one of the new Body Shop deoderants without aluminium in as they are on special offer at £2.50 and the aluminium is something I have been trying to avoid. The one I got smells of citrus fruits and this pleaseth me as it's not the type of scent I've really noticed on deoderants, but I like it! (If it's any good, I may stock up as it will be £6.00 and you get very hot where I work).

I also bought a Dr Feelgood on Ebay for £6.42. I'm not sure it's doing as much as I was hoping it would, but it's early days and I needed some sort of anto-shine stuff for my nose!

A very small UU - a Clarins serum sachet. WIBA? No, it was nice but I don't know whether serums really do anything if you don't wear that much makeup in the day, and also a sachet isn't really enough to be able to tell whether it had any effect. Got it before my wedding with the promise that if I liked it, I would come back and buy it ;) Did I? No. Just saved the second sachet she gave me!
