No Buying Toiletries in June Challenge!

I've got a couple of Berkeley Square gift sets from the Boots Xmas sale 2 years ago, they were in my stash for gifts but they're starting to look a little jaded now. Does anyone know how the perfumes wear? I think I have Fig & Cherry and Lime & Clarysage. If they wear well that might stop me having to buy any perfume for ages!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.0 -

If you're talking about Thermae, for a Monday afternoon I thought so but not so busy that you couldn't still relax, especially with the sun shining. I think she said they were open until 9.00pm although last entry was at 7.00pm and they opened I think at 8.00am. We could definitely have stayed longer and Mum really loved the roof top pool, I think it was probably the best pool out of the two we had access to.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Next to the "quote" tab you are using at the moment is a picture of 2 balloons. If you click on that a tick will appear on the balloon, then read the next post and click the balloon in that if you want to reply or just go on to the next post. When you click reply at the end of the thread the separate posts will be in the reply box and you can multiquote.
Hope that makes sense, it's simple to do but kind of difficult to explain.
Thanks so much for these instructions - I am going to try it now and hope that it works! However, I have to confess to buying a Ceridwen's Cauldron and a Sex in the Shower yesterday. Lush truly is my only weakness - everything else I can put back on the shelves!
I love Ceridwen's Cauldron!! Its one of my favourite Lush products! I have managed to avoid Lush since going a bit mad there in January, and am slowing working my way through my Lush stash. I have found that their bubble bars and bath bombs do lose their fragrance a fair bit if stored for too long, so use them up if you have them everybody!
I broke a bit off my Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds bubble bar last night, and it is lovely! Good value for money as well I reckon, as I'm sure I'll get 6-8 baths out of it. If you like patchouli, then you'd love it.
Couple of UUs:
Boots Botanics Skin Brightening Toner - 75ml size - did the job and nice enough but I've other favourites so would not buy again. It also had all sorts of warnings on the label about AHAs and being careful going out in the sun after using the product, which worried me a bit, but I didn't have any bad reactions to it personally.
Body Shop Cocoa Butter body lotion - 50ml - that had been open for too long. The texture had altered I think, and it wasn't all that easy to apply, and was a bit too watery to be really moisturising. Glad to see the back of that one, but I'm sure originally it was nice enough.
Another random Neutrogena body lotion from a hotel - finished that up on my feet the last couple of nights.
OK well thats all for now I think. I hope the multiquote has worked!
Keep going everybody and happy pampering!
Love from Candice x0 -

Nice to see it's not just me!I had clocked up £29.90 worth of loveliness and knew there was no way it could happen...the figure I saw at the end of my payslip today was more encouraging than normal, but still nowhere near enough to justify all that stuff (plus the lack of storage space, of course!).

A nearly use up, a spluttering:
L'Oreal collagen filler eye - wiba not sure. it was more like ooh la lift from benefit (so a kind of make up product) than an eye cream. think it provided a temporary lift but think its full of chemicals as it stung a bit. need to find a decent eye cream.
Binned:
Garnier nutritionist (hell these names are daft) caffeine eye roll on. its been open a while and think it may have given me an eye infection (lesson learnt). So WIBA - not sure, probably not. Would rather have a decent eye cream for daytime.
Talking of eye infections - more of a swollen puffy eyelid - anyone ever had that? I dont normally suffer hayfever or anything. I have been using 2 different eye products recently (Clarins eye make up remover and Rimmel volume flash mascara) so maybe they are the culprits. :cool:Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!" Less things. Less stuff. More life.Fab thread: Long daily walks
