Thank you! I feel much better now. I honestly didn't think I needed this thread but having had a bit of a clear out this week I definitely do!
I pass on the shampoo/toothpaste/soap/bubble bath etc side of things - these are commodities that I replace as and when needed but the skin pampering stuff is starting to breed.
I definitely need to use up some stuff before I buy anything else and how on earth did I manage to buy 15 bottles of sunscreen.....0 -
If it makes you feel better, I have about 25 different eyeshadows that are *pretty much* all the same shade....lol0

I was up early this morning and had time to put on a face pack before my shower. I used a Montagne Jeunesse Sauna Masque Red Hot Earth one. It's a self heating therapy clay for deep pore cleansing for normal and oily skin. It does heat as you apply it and it feels really good - it would be great to use on a cold winter's night. It's done the trick of removing dead skin and deep cleansing my face. WIBA? Yes but I've got another one of these to use first plus a few others too!
Yesterday, I had a bit of a sort through of my stash and grouped miniature shower gels together in a toiletry bag. While I was doing this I discovered a half used Olay moisturiser which I'd forgotten I'd got and so this has gone into my moisturiser toiletry bag. I also discovered a small hand cream that I'd forgotten I'd got and so that will go into my handbag once my current handbag one is finished. I felt a bit more organised after my sort through.0 -

Jacks - well done for posting your lists. I for one don't think lists are at all dull. I love seeing what other people have in their stashes, and although its a mammoth task to get it all down, its worth doing it. When its all there in black and white, it does kind of shock you into realising exactly what you do and don't need. So thanks to you and to everyone posting their lists! :T
OK keep motivated ladies, bye for now
Love from Candice x
 Thanks honey, I'm just off upstairs with my pad to do another chunk of it. :eek:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

 It's meant to protect against gum disease. My dentist started me off on it after I'd been ill a couple of years ago and my gums receded noticeably. Hubby has it for much the same reason I think. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

I am going to join as my stash is now in 2 rooms of the house - i have all my beauty items on a spreadsheet and have over 1000 items to use up - like a lot of you I can't resist a bargain but need to get this under control. I am going to resist all QVC TSVs in June. One arrived Friday (Elemis TSV ordered on waitlist as adore pro collagen marine cream) but that is going to be my last for the time being. Hopefully joining this post will help me stay strong and use up my stash!
 Welcome to the gang Kipling Monkey! It's good to have another QVC addict on board. Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That made me giggle out loud
Ta :A
Oh! While I'm here... does anyone else have no problem shelling out for 'luxurious' brands? But thinks twice about buying the cheaper stuff? Like hotel chocolate, I'd buy some stuff from there, but would grudge buying a bar of cadburys? Please tell me I'm not alone
:rotfl:
I giggled too! Although to be fair to Hubby, I did spell Corsodyl wrong (Although Hubby would say with my handwriting spelling is pretty irrelevant!)
I quite cheerfully spend £45 on a set of overpriced smellies from QVC then refuse to buy a 99p deodorant in Boots cos I know it's 97p in Wilkos...
The cheap versus expensive thing is hard for me cos every time I try and find cheaper alternative to my favourites I end up trying three that don't really make the grade and spending more than I would have if I'd just bought my favourite in the first place! Doh! (and then giving up the search and having to shell out for the favourite on top of that!)Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Jacks - if its any consolation, right back at the beginnig of this challenge (November was it?? Im sure it was pre christmas, but it might not have been?? ) I disappeared for 4 days to work out my stash, and I wasnt the owner of the largest by a long chalk - dont be disheartened by how much you have - just think of all the money you will save by not needing to buy !!!!
 Bless you honey! You're so right that I'm going to be saving money every month by cruising by on my stash. I'll need conditioner, cotton wool and nail varnish remover soonish, but nothing big for a while.
I'm thinking of saving the money that I would have spent every time I resist a purchase and treating myself to something lovely with the money. (Like a holiday, or a garden makeover!) It would be nice to have an extra incentive for times when I'm a bit lacking in motivation.
*ponders*Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
fed up cos OH is off to spend the night in a posh hotel in Harrogate(work) he asked me to go too(doesn't often happen) but I am working everyday this week:(:(:((my job is seasonal so can't refuse work or call in sick as no pay)
went to a 75th birthday lunch on sat and now weight back to starting(how can I gain 1 kilo in a day but not lose it??????????)
