Hi All
I have just discovered that you now have monthly threads for this. I was almost a bimbo who just nearly resurected the original one then I spotted I should be posting here....
A quick update on me (so this makes more sense) :- I got a new job at end of Jan which is really really full on with long hours etc. I know I am lucky to have one but obviously my time on MSE has been effected, hence no waffle on here, But... I am pleased to report I have ALMOST stuck to the No spend on Toiletries (and perfume) totally.:rotfl:
The only times I have fallen off the wagon since I started was to buy Olay Touch of Foundation (needed), and 3 No7 Lipsticks (my favourite colour) that was being discontinued and was on 3 for 2.
I am getting to the point where things are starting to run low now, and in some cases it's a joy (no more cr*p shampoo or stinky Dove, and it would be quite nice to be able to choose which toothpaste to buy again), and in other cases it's extremely sad (I have used up 1 S&G hatbox and I am gutted about opening my 2nd and last one).
Certain items of make up have run out and I am now using GWP sizes etc, but I have significantly more room in my bathroom cupboard, and I can see what I have got so everythings getting used, and I have saved money
Two things I would like to use up, but just don't seem to go down, are my nail polishes and perfume.
I am wearing perfume every single day and reapplying etc and the bottles aint shifting  and I really want some DNKY Delicious or Ghost Deep Night but I am holding on. (Normally I would have bought both straight away no matter how many perfumes I had on the go)
Any enough waffle. I am happy to have found the thread again, and I am now going to read the previous pages and catch up.Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once.0 -

I use a microplane foot file, you use it on dry feet, it is like using a cheese grater.
Ebay sell them and that's where I purchased mine, first time using you have to be careful and not be too vigorous.
I use mine about every 2 weeks and my feet are lovely & soft.0 -
I would not be without a foot file,I have 2 scholl ones,a metel and a wooden and use them most days then put scholl cracked heel cream on to keep my feet fit to be seen0

food so far today...I jordans bar for brekkie,4 rivita and cheese and few grapes for lunch and a tiny penguin wafer with cup of tea just now........omlet and salad to look forward to!mmmmmmmmmmmmmm(and no wine!!!)0 -
Raven - another vote here for that Olay heating face wash, lovely stuff! I usually use it alongside another one as I'm not keen on using something exfoliating morning and night, so I use that in the morning and then a non-scrubby one at night.
BBTHREE I know what you mean about the perfume thing - one of the things I realised when I first started doing this challenge was that although on the face of it I have very few full-sized bottles of perfume (about four when I started) I do have absolutely masses of miniature size ones though which for some reason I was "saving" - Saving for what, I'm not sure! It's amazing how long one of those teeny, tiny little bottles seems to last!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Debidoodle, do you mean like a pedi egg? I've seen them advertised but to me they look like if I used one I would end up doing more damage than good
Rosemary, I was looking at a scholl one. I was looking at this one on Boots

I have only found one good review so far but no bad ones.
I could also buy this one and take advantage of the offer if it comes back into stock in time

Very similar, although the microplane is more superior QVC sell them Microplane 3 Piece Remove, Smooth & Hydrate File & Buffer Foot Care Set.
I have 2 the compact and the larger one with the handle, mine are about 5 years old.
Ebay have them starting from £8.99.
You do have to be careful 1st time using as you see all this dry skin being grated off, you could end up with tender feet: sorry if this is TMI.
You cannot use them if you are diabetic or have circulation problems.0 -
Used up 1 roll on deodorant, 1 shower gel and a tube of toothpaste, which lasted 9 days after DP almost threw it out because he 'couldn't get anything out of it!' Also I went to use a sachet of body lotion, which I've had for years, and when I opened it nothing came out, it seems to have evaporated while in the sealed sachet? Still it's been binned, so that's one less thing to get rid of!
Hugs
