wow. TBH the idea of cooking popcorn in it horrifies me! I'm guessing the lemon scent indicates chemicals that are best not ingested too...but peodle do swear by it for everything! :o

I don't know if I would feel comfortable cooking popcorn with something that can also be used for hemorroids TBH...:rotfl:

Hi Jacks! Can you report on the Dermalogica redness relief? I'm looking for something that would hide/diminish the redness on my cheeks - think I may have mild rosacea.

I like it hon, the green effect is subtle but under foundation / TM it definitely makes a difference to the redness coming through. Long term it *may* have made a small difference to the amount of redness in my cheeks, but I've chopped and changed my diet and skincare so much that honestly it could be down to any one of a dozen factors.

I like it cos it's my colour corrector, moisturiser and sunscreen in one so it cuts down on the layers I have to pile on in the morning. :D

My horror product of the moment is some Emu Oil. I love the red/orange packaging, and the lemon scent, but I hate the oil. it doesn't do much for my feet at all. In fact, i think it might make them drier, it has a funny texture (and I like oils) and it feels greasy yet dry.

Does anyone have any other ideas for using this up?

What about as bath oil or a foot soak?

Thanks for that! I think subtle is good, cos I've heard that too much green can come out a "ghost-like". I've already changed my skincare routine to sensitive products, I think that has made a difference, but maybe the make up on top of it isn't helping...I always had combination skin, leaning towards oily, but now I'm in my early 30's (), it seems to have become way more sensitive (and red!) and I often get a burning feeling when I moisturise. At the moment, I'm using either aqueous cream or Soap and Glory hot cloth cleanser to wash with, then Boots expert sensitive moisturising cream (which I REALLY like! thought it would be too rich, but it sinks in and makes my face all smooth). Then either MAC studio fix or EL double wear light on top.
Astonishing the amount of stuff I put on my face, when not so long ago, mum and I used to just wash with dove soap all over and that was it! lol

Honey, I'm pretty sure I've got a couple of sample sachets of the redness relief. PM me your address and I'll pop them in the post for you to try. I'm familiar with the burning feeling and I don't get it with this so hopefully you won't either.

hi max, i suffer a bit of reddy cheeks too. I found it was the cleanser that was too harsh. So your hot cloth one, maybe make sure the water is only so warm, not too hot for your skin. I've been meaning to try the Clinique anti redness solutions moisturiser - maybe something to try in the future.

Also I think acqueous (sp?) cream has sodium laureth sulfphate or petro chemicals in it. So its not quite as skin neutral (for everyone). I know some people love it so not dissing it entirely. also dont be too aggressive with facial scrubs. I've just started the avene extemely gentle cleanser - going to see how it goes. it made my skin feel soft. it contains no parabens or chemicals. :A
