i had hoped that i could list a shampoo/conditioner and shower gel today as being used up yesterday but they live for yet another day :(

i am wondering why i actually have makeup as i wore some a week ago and before that it had been at my wedding 18mths before hand. I'll never use that stuff up at this rate.

    Hiya

I have been following this thread for a couple of months and loving it,great to see how we can all get so excited about trying new and using up existing products.I am probably not worthy of being part of the challenge (all spare toiletries sit in one rattan basket in my wardrobe), but i do blame this forum for my 10 BS body Butters and 8 shower gels (paltry effort, i hear some of you cry!!)

Anyway, i thought i would introduce myself and tell you about some of my UU's.I love reading your honest reviews....

Dolce and Gabbana Rose the One perfume-WIBA?No sadly, i had the original perfume, which was quite strong and lasted all day.The instant rose smell on this is lovely, but fades away to nothingness!Looking forward to my Hugo Boss Orange now.I am one of these sad people who tend to use just one perfume at a time, though i go through a perfume probably every 6 weeks..i cant leave home without my perfume, i even reapply for the preschool run!Is that sad?

Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel-WIBA?Yes, but only as part of a glitch as think £6 is a bit pricey.Gorgeous smell, used it as a bubble bath and shower gel

    Thankyou for letting me postxx

    Hello everyone,

    Another use up:
Max Factor second skin foundation - sachet, wiba no. It was 'natural' apparently but too dark for my skin. Nice texture. Will see how it wears. Not sure if they do anything lighter than natural!

PS: Lemon Tree, try putting on just a bit of slap every day to help use it up.
    PPS: Hello and welcome Dignity1!

I very rarely wear anything more than foundation, and even that is just a light covering!

hahahaha...take that emu oil. Its gone, in a bucket with some hot water and a little of the shampoo from the hand soap dispenser, and for good measure a dollop of conditioner I found that I think I might have had as a student (I'm 31) and don't feel I can use it on my hair. Any way...who doesn't want the hair on their toes soft ;)

Funnily enough it doesn't smell so bad with the stinky shampoo and the old conditioner in the mix. :)
  • Hello everyone, another newbie here - i've been lurking in the background reading everyone's progress and have decided to join in!

Quick question though - i've found a couple of bottles of sun tan lotion for the face - one by Simple which i'd quite like to use and another one...possibly Dior -but they've been hidden away in my bedroom for some time. Does suntan lotion have a "use by" date?

    Thanks :o

Don't worry Anitas Favs are still available online and so I suppose they must still be in store too.

I only had a quick look, so TBH I might have missed it, buttry to use up your others first! ;)

Thanks guys but you're right I shouldn't actually stock up when I have others to use up from my stash first. Hmmm I think I should get OH to hide my purse from me in case I'm tempted to look on the website later:o:rotfl:

My guess is it would be about 12 months. but I have and use stuff older than that. I've got factor fifty from last year, and I can't find my face one. When I do I shall wear it this year, and next year.

I hav a new drama....my skin is stinging like crazy. No new products used, it even stung when having washed it gently with oil I put some Night Repair serum (one o my fail safes and used almost every night). This is one of the reason I have so many products: my skin seems to reject stuff after a while, then will tolerate it again at a later date. But never night repair serum. :(

That's the second sample sachet of Avon foundation gone - I managed to squeeze the last dregs out of it this morning. WIBA? Yes, already have! I'll sort out my Clinique sample size to use for the next little while until the Avon one I've ordered turns up. Everything else is still just spluttering along at the moment - I suspect I'll have another little cluster of UU's towards the weekend but then after that I'll be onto pretty much everything with lots in it.

I had a quick sort out of the bathroom cupboard last night and - would you believe! - I now actually have some spare space in there!!! Great sense of achievement!

LiR - sorry to hear your skin has flared up, do you think it's definitely the serum that's the main problem? My mum has terrible problems getting a cleanser that she can use for any length of time - after a few weeks use nearly everything starts making her skin react. :(
Dignity1 - all welcome on here - just because you don't have a mahoosive list (well done on posting all of yours Jacks!) doesn't mean you don't have your weak spots, and it sounds like you do so far as body butter is concerned! With me it's shampoo and conditioner!

no it was stinging before the serum, thats why I decided to wash it and put serum/night cream on...to try and sooth it. But washing hurt, serum hurt, didn't moisturise yet. Funnily enough it feels better now...and it looks ok.
