A couple of use ups at the last spluttering stage:

Clarins Gentle Eye Make up Remover - WIBA no. I prefer the Clinique remover for eyes and lips. Seems a bit more gentle. I have no other eye make up remover in stash! This challenge has really helped get things under control.

Clarins Cleansing Milk for normal or dry skin - WIBA no. It's ok but I think I prefer the Clarins extra comfort wash off cleanser. I have 5 cleansers in stash (all bar one in use).

PS: just seen images of pelicans and birds covered in oil on the Gulf coast, absolutely heartbreaking :(

Jacks - does that make you feel any better about tackling your list now?

At least I can instantly see where my problem areas are and can avoid buying any body lotions, hand creams, moisturisers or perfumes for about 2 years! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope everybody's enjoying the sunshine ..... oh, I have another toiletries bag full of sun block etc that I haven't included on my list!

Bye for now, love from Candice x

 It does chick :T:A So here goes:

I'm hoping seeing it in black and white will help drum into my addled brain that I don't need to buy any more of x y and z, and I'm also hoping to get rid of the poverty consciousness that makes me worry about what will happen if I don't have backups of my faves.

I'd also quite like the huge deep drawer space back!

This is just the Unused Back Up Stash, the products in use list is still a work in progress.I've listed each product individually because I want to match up my Usey Uppys and not be able to sneak anything new in.

    Morning all,

I am up for this challenge this month as well. So far, I have got £32 in my pot, I put a pound in there for every product I use up/throw away etc. Last week I decided that I will save up for a 2 hour beauty treatment for £80, so only need another £48, that should help me not to buy anything. My target for June is to buy nothing. In May I spent £44 on beauty products so I don't need anything.

Well done to those of you who have been brave enough to write what you have got in your stash.

Good luck to everyone with this challenge. I am so glad that I joined, it's such a great feeling to create more space in the bathroom.

No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Ok, The Products In Use List.

I've decided to follow the standard advice for any task that feel too overwhelming to even begin and break it down into bite size chunks. I've begun listing individual items but if I start stressing I'll switch to writing "3 black eyeliners" instead of listing each one separately.

Thanks for the lists girlies, very impressive!

I am going to PY(T)NS. A count up of my nail polishes last night came to 35 or it could be 36 as I'd put some varnish in the fridge to use today and can't remember if I counted that bottle. When I was looking through my stash I came across some that I'd forgotten I'd got and I really fancied trying one of the shades in an unopened bottle but decided to be MSE and to use an old favourite. It is a lilac Bourjois one, "lilas sucre", which I must have had at least 3 years. It is difficult to tell how much is left in the bottle, possibly a third.

Some of my nail polishes have come from using No 7 vouchers and I make sure now that I buy other products with these vouchers as I have enough shades to choose from without needing any more! Some of the polishes in my stash that I've had for years look a bit iffy but "I promise to" (you can tell I was in the Brownies :rotfl:) give them a chance by putting them in the fridge/adding clear varnish etc before I give up on them.

Sorry, me again! I forgot to say I opened a sachet of Clinique Youth Surge SP15 moisturiser yesterday. I was hoping I'd finish it up today but no there's still enough in there for tomorrow and possibly the day after. I was looking forward to trying this as I know Clinique is popular and I've never tried their range. WIBA? No, mainly because it has an unpleasant smell, never sure when this happens is it because I've had the product too long?! Ok, this was a freebie from a magazine but I think there is a lesson to be learned in buying too much stuff and by the time you get around to using it the product isn't at its best which equals wasting money.

    Some more use ups -

Indola 4+4 Hair mask - wiba yes. hard to find though. a nice pampering hair mask.

Darphin cleansing milky emulsion, pink one - wiba no. I bought it reduced (at an outlet) but it was nothing special. Especially for circa £20!

Neutrogena face wask/mask visibly clear - wiba no. it was one of the Beauty Bible beauty steals winners, but it was really hard to wash off. Prefer their other wash which comes out as a foam/pump.

Pronamel toothpaste - wiba - maybe if on offer. it helps the teeth feel really clean but is a slightly watery consistency.

Very pleased with lots more stuff gone. Made a concerted effort this morning to focus on stuff with just a few splutterings left.

Happy pampering and remember the SPF today - no point all that body butter if we tan to look like leather is there.

No use ups but a mini spend to report - £1 on a big bottle of Carex showergel - both OH and I will use this and I like the clean smell and effect on my skin. (Bought from the Pound shop)

Sorry I haven't been around much girls, been under a lot of pressure at Uni, but FINALLY got all exams, essays and a 15,000 word report *finished*.
I've updated my signature to show off my proudest achievement this year though! :)
Can't believe it's June already, the year is flying by for me!
My overall spend included the John Frieda glitch which I just *couldn't* resist. I didn't include stuff like razors, deodorant or make up as I don't tend to stockpile that stuff and only buy as I need but the best part has been the kicking of the habit. I am now rarely in Boots or Superdrug and my stash is beginning to look quite humble if I do say so myself. I may even need to buy a body scrub soon as my last BS one is now in use! I'll be getting it with the online shop though, so as not to be tempted by the shiny smelly goodness of Boots!
I reckon I've saved in excess of £200, as I would have been right in amongst all the Body Shop glitches and 1/3 off S&G, and yes, it was hard at times but it became so liberating.
So, a big thank you to everyone who contributed to this challenge, it's been fantastic for me, I will try to pop in more often now that the Uni year is over, but the sun has been shining in Bonny Scotland recently, and we need to grab it while we can! (pun totally intended!)
Good luck to everyone just starting or continuing the challenge, it's been such an eye opener knowing I'm not the only one with a bathroom full of enough toiletries to clean, buff, tone and moisturise the planet's population 3 times over!
    Keep up the good work!

I started making a list but its never ending it will take days. I really did not know how much stuff i had. problem i have is when i get something if i like it i go and buy loads more of it but before its half finished i go off it then on to something else. i did have a spend today of £8. before i joined this challenge i ordered some perfume oils and they came today and are so lovely i ordered some more. all different ones and a girl can never have too many smellies ;)
I did allow myself £20 for this month.
