I am still for the life of me trying to finish the toiletries i purchased ages ago. I have just chucked my old makeup, definately not good when it goes over the 2 year limit!! yuk! have just got new makeup all natural, but am being a bit more frugal about what i buy!! i did the mistake of buying two body moisturisers that i really liked when i got them in a discount deal over christmas- buy 3 and get money off. Am still stuck using them and have gone totally off the fragrance!!! warning to all....just because it's on sale doens't mean you should buy more!!!

Just a teeny use up to report....
A Dove roll on "no white marks" deodorant. WIBA - yes, its lasted ages (weeks and weeks), smellt OK and worked.
Have to finish an almost used Sure one next and then I'm onto the last one in the drawer:eek:
No other use ups to report although the Tresemme S&C are finally getting lower.
  • Two use ups for you :)

Body Shop Coconut body butter and scrub
WIBA? No, These were both very moisturising and the scrub was lovely and gentle, but scrubby but i found them both a little greesy on my skin and i found that the body butter took a long time to sink in.

Also I threw away a Tesco Skin Boost body butter because it smelt horrible and very factory produced and it reminded me of playdo (sp?) this is a definate WNBA even though it was a gift.
No buying toiletries challenge - Started 10th May 2010 :)

So there we have it ladies! Phew! I'm not sure if I feel better or worse now! :o Some of the above are travel size (50ml or so) bottles - does that make it any better? :rotfl: Also I have a box full of samples and sachets but I'm not going to even look at those yet!

Jacks - does that make you feel any better about tackling your list now?

At least I can instantly see where my problem areas are and can avoid buying any body lotions, hand creams, moisturisers or perfumes for about 2 years! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope everybody's enjoying the sunshine ..... oh, I have another toiletries bag full of sun block etc that I haven't included on my list!

Bye for now, love from Candice x

Really disappointed as the new face cream I started on my holiday last week is feeling not so good on my face this week. It feels like it is just sitting on my skin whereas I'm sure it didn't feel like that last week. I don't know whether to put it down to the fact we were by the sea for a week or this week is TOM or that last week I was using it with a LE C&P and this week I'm using it with another cleanser. I'm hoping that it will sort itself out :(

    @pinkandwhites That's a very impressive list:T

Has anybody sent Tweezerman tweezers off to be sharpened? The address on the pack says Houston, Texas, USA. Just wondering if this is where you sent them or is there a UK or Europe address instead?

I have 3 pairs to send, tweezermans=expensive so I don't want them going missing.

Edited to add, is it even ok to be sending them in the post? Sharp objects and all the corresponding customs rules?

Used up one of my body sprays today, thought 'great, 1 down 4 to go', then I found another 2 that I hadn't counted, 1 under my pile of ironing in the lounge? and 1 in my work bag!

Going to Morrisons tomorrow and just seen an ad for offers on toiletries there, must resist!

    Hugs
    Sue.

    Hi Mags30

I've sent tweezers to Tweezerman to be sharpened and was very impressed with the service. I went to the Post Office to check on postage but can't remember the details of this now except that it didn't cost much and I sent them in a jiffy bag plus original plastic pouch.

Hope you have a spare pair of tweezers to use in the meantime!

I don't post often, but I do still read and am sticking to the 'no buying' rule. I have this week finished a LE cleanse and polish and spray tonic, replacing from my stask. Only another 4 and 3 respectively now!
My DD floored me a bit by giving me a load of toiletries she brought back from Malta with her in early May. I have used up one radox bath creme from that but still have loads of shampoo etc left. Now today, I went to visit her at Uni, and she sent me home with 2 baskets of stuff-all unopened, good quality hair stuff, mouth wash, toothpaste, bath stuff, liquid soap, shaving gel,I haven't got to the bottom of one of them yet to really see what's what-I definitely think she needs to join this challenge. I now have to add that to my own stash and the stuff she gave me in May-I think it is going to take me until the end of this year at least to clear the bulk of this stuff. When I think how many pounds are tied up in all this stuff it could make me weep!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
