confession....i re tidied the boxes and managed to get the majority of my toiletries into one box (albeit long and rectangular under the bed!).....but.....i found about 5 half used fake tan lotions  so will alternate between the ones i bought that i love and these ones which were obviously discarded as they must be rubbish! i have a feeling a few of them gave no colour so i could use them as a moisturising lotion between applications and maybe they might build up a colour??? hmm x

No use ups to report but no new purchases either! Thought I would have a use up to report today but it's going strong - cut open my trial sized P&P day cream and it had at least another 3 applications in - thought it would go today after 2 but no!

Hopefully this weekend will wrap up all birthday presents I've allocated from the stash so I will see what I actually have left over - a friend wants to buy some off me :)

Don't get me wrong -I'm not orange, just a 'healthy' glow IYSWIM but as I have dark hair and green eyes I can sometimes look washed out if no tan on!
Ditto! It's the Irish in me - makes me pale! Just went darker too. Hair, not eyes! They're still green :D

BTW have you tried the Corsodyl Daily toothpaste? My hygienist gave me a sample tube but I wouldn't buy it, it tastes disgusting, toothpaste is supposed to be minty not salty, lol!
Yes - it is AWFUL! Had a horrid suprise when I tried it first time :silenced: I'm sure it does a great job though. I'd much rather a minty one anyday!

I'm in such a good mood today. Listening to a fabulous Pink song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K28XZYaB5ow if you're interested). No UUs though I'm expecting some this wknd... yipee.

Well done on all the UUs ladies. I'll be back in a bit :)

I used up a Dove go fresh cucumber and green tea body wash this morning. WIBA? Yes, I love the fresh cucumber smell and it's a good everyday shower gel. I have got other Dove body washes in different fragrances plus plenty of other shower gels kicking around but I'm going to be good and use up some honey soap from my gym bag first (I discontinued my gym membership yonks ago!). Soap lasts ages though doesn't it :(.

I always use Clinique's City Block, its a bit pricey for a small tube but I tend to buy it from Boots with points.

I actually have that, but never even thought about it :) I use it every day in the morning before putting on my makeup, and love it - SPF, and I do really think it helps repel the random grime that can accumulate during the day in the city (I work in central london).

Edit: ooh, i just clicked on the link, I didn't realise they'd changed it! I have the original, SPF 25, this new "Super" one is SPF 40! I'm almost out of my current one, so I'll look forward to trying the new formulation...

I just never thought about using it on it's own, rather than under makeup, don't know why :rotfl:

Soltan Face SPF 50 gets good reviews on Boots and it's currently BOGOF. I'm seriously tempted!

I might try this once i finish my kids SPF 50 - i like having something a little stronger if i'll be out and about in the sun for a few hours.

Defo with the Irish skin! Guess I'm luckier than most as I have skin that tans lol - mum has the blonde hair/reddish skin colouring but dad's from the west so he's dark and tanned - kind of personifies the whole galway/spanish link!

Well done everyone on the UU - keep it going!!!xx

Isn't time flying. Can't believe its June already.

I have a slight confession.....I have been to Lush.

It was for a friend's birthday present but as a Lush virgin I didn't realise they gave free gifts so I ended up with a couple of freebies to try. I'm pretty much out of shower gel and soap so would have needed to buy some soon anyway. I'm very excited about trying them out, they smell gorgeous

(I could add them to friend's gift, but I'm not! :rotfl:)

Whilst I'm down to one-in-use and one-in-stock for pretty much everything now, my stash of moisturisers continue to fight back. I'm trying to work my way through my spray ones now. They are taking forever, I don't think they'll ever die.

I'm off to enjoy the sun, hope everyone has a lovely day

Corsodyl toothpaste is vile - I laboured away at it for weeks. You know the bit on the back about how it gets better with time? - THEY LIE! :rotfl:

    Oh.

    My.

    Bliddy.

    Flippin'.

    God.

I just sat on the bedroom floor to list the stash and was feeling quite pleased with myself - not even a page of A4, that can't be too bad.

But then I started on the "stuff in use" and over two hours later I'm about half way through writing it all down.

I can never buy any make up or skincare ever again.

    Ever!

    (Ever ever!)

Do you think I ought to email Alison Young at QVC to tell her that her commission is about to take a significant nosedive? :D

PS During the sort out I chucked out a Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm that was leaking and over two years old. WIBA Nah. It made my face all shiney and then separated where my face moved and looked vile.

Ah nice, lucky you. I have Irish (dark hair) and English (blonde hair) so I'm not very tanable with the British sun at least. If I were to spend a month abroad I'd tan up lovely. Just got to get there now!

I'm really really careful in the sun - I'm the annoying one who reminds friends and family about the benefits of suncream! They are so stubborn not using it! Naughty.

    Catch you all later :p
