Woohoo, I found you guys and you're already on page 4. Can I rejoin. I think I had a pretty good May. Don't recall treating myself to anything other than freebies from magazines. Have used up a few things in the last few days and have been meaning to post on the May thread but our PC has been down so here goes:-
James Brown shampoo - WIBA? No. I got this as freebie with mag. I still love my Aussie shampoo and have bought two whilst on offer of Buy 2 for £5.00 at Tesco.
15ml tube of Elemis PCMC WIBA? Yep, is my HG day cream. I do have two 30ml pots in my stockpile though and as the last 30ml pot lasted me 4 months I'm hoping I won't need any more before Christmas.
Full size Elemis Lime and ginger hand wash WIBA? No. Much prefer L'occitane. Find this one a little drying on my skin however I do have another one in my stockpile so will use that up first.
75ml bottle of Balance Me Juniper shower gel WIBA? No not unless I see it on a really good offer.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

:wave:Ooh! Ooh! my first usey uppys! :j We're off!
I threw the last of my Margaret Dabbs Foot Oil into the bath and the threw the Foot Soak away because it had all coalgulated in the bottom of the bottle and gone black. (These are almost two years old though.)
WIBA? Nah, whilst I liked the immediate cosmetic effect of the foot oil on my feet, the foot soak was more or less pointless as far as I am concerned and both containers were heavy unwieldy and leaky. I lived in constant fear of cracking my sink whilst putting them back on the shelf with oily hands.
I'm just going through my eBay Watch list deleting things going "I don't need that, I can live without that, I really really want that so I'll wait until the bids get higher before deleting it!":rotfl:

I agree, I think these wipes are fab. Normally I stay well away from the cheaper wipes but the price tempted me with these and they are really just as good as a lot of the more expensive ones imo. I had previously tried other tesco wipes and found them to be awful quality so these were a pleasant surprise. And the secret must be out because half the time the shelf is empty of them in local Mr T's:(:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Gosh can't believe we're halfway through the year already. Where does time go???
UU to report:
Bodyshop rich moisture carrot cream, WIBA? Yes, very soothing and moisturising to put on at night before you go to sleep and a little goes a long way. I'm not going to buy anymore at the moment because recent BS glitches means I've got a stock of BS Vit E cream to go through :rotfl:.
Elasta QP Deep penetrating conditioner: This smells very nice, made of mainly "natural" ingredients, is a cheap deep conditioner badly needed for my coloured hair. WIBA? Maybe, I'm trialling Herbal Essences Hello Hydration conditioner which was fab when I used it last week. I was able to comb through my very thick hair very easily and barely lost any hair in the shower (but I lost a lot when I went to the hairdressers on Saturday for a ''small trim''). I'm going to compare the results once I finish the Herbal Essences conditioner.
Sure shower fresh mineral deodorant. This was 2 for 1 at superdrug and is quite nifty because instead of a top (which I always seems to lose) it has a lock at the back of the spray which you can use to stop it accidentally being released. WIBA? I might do, was quite effective and smells nice. I'm a sweaty Betty in hot weather so I'm going to be trialling anhydrol forte which you use overnight and wash off in the morning. If it's successful, hopefully they'll be no need to use spray as well.
I am currently using up a Vera Wang Princess body butter as a hand cream at home. It's far too perfumed (duh!) to use on my face.0 -
Just a small use up to report...
A whitening toothpaste and an Imperial Leather shower gel - both everyday essentials replaced with similar items.
No stock of either of these left now so am buying as and when I need them.0 -
hi all
well was quite good in May - had a few use ups and didn't buy anything new that I didn't need.
Still have loads of stuff to use up but I will need to get some shampoo and also some wipes for DS as we opened the last packet yesterday. That should be all though.
Good luck all.0 -
Well i have now sorted through my stash it really is unreal i knew i had alot but not this much. couldnt fit on large dinning table. i buy all these bargains then put them away as there to good for every day use and then go out and buy what ever is cheapist. not any more i have got it all in order the newer unopened things back in boxes till i use up whats open. i think all i need this month to buy will be razors and hair colour. mind you thats all i need to buy for the next few months.0

hi everyone, gosh aren't you a chatty lot on page 4 already! will be sticking with the challenge this month. Have been a very good girl and the stash is really reducing (except for lipsticks/glosses - can't see a time when i will ever need to buy one again as it takes me so long to use them up!) going to concentrate on a few products this month to use up. will taking a few (very) old make up products on hols with me and do not intend bringing them back!trying hard to be debt free by the end of 20100

Evening all - I'm back again for another month!
A couple of use-ups to report here. Sanctuary body souffle died last night - WIBA? yes, for sure. Smells delicious and works well, Nice and easy to apply too so this goes on the "yes" list. What I will almost certainly do though is wait for OH to buy me some for my birthday!Am moving on to the Body Shop Sweet Lemon BB next. Also my L'Oreal True Match foundation has finally run dry. WIBA? Surprisingly, another yes. Goes on smoothly and easily (I apply foundation with fingers and this smooths in so easily even without moisturiser or serum underneath). The coverage is good and it lasts fairly well too. This is the second bottle I've had and when I've used up the odds and ends I have about I will
almost certainly go back for another of these. At £9.99 it's not too pricey either. I have two Avon samples and a Clinique mini to use first though.
I seem to have a fair number of bits which are running low so I hope this is a bumper month for U/U's!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well I used up the tiny sample of the benefits face scrub just now - though it was almost hard,so I had to mix it with water to make it useable. WIB at all?? (bearing in mind it was a freebee!) - YES, though I have a feeling it is the same as the St Ives apricot one - so might have to check it out properly first. the benefits one was lovely and creamy (before it dried up!) and made my face feel nice.
think that was it though - hopefully my tresemee stuff will go this month, and i think i will be getting shot of the cinamon buns bubble bath this month too.
off to bed now, hmmm- what flavour butter to rub in.... love one or the lemon one????Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0
