Hello everyone!
I'm up for June too, i managed to go through all of May with out buying any toiletries. Even though i was very tempted with the body shop offers!
Hopefully i'll be able to do the same in June?No buying toiletries challenge - Started 10th May 20100 -
I'm in again - and I'm going to try to buy nothing! Need to save all my pennies for the baby!
Going to try and get rid of the travel sized bottles that don't have enough in them to take on holiday, stuff like shampoos taken from posh hotels that only have one or two washes left in them. Will then save a couple of empties and use these for travel in future. My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Just been to Marks & Spencers. I love their Aftersun as it's cooling and really moisterizes without being sticky and now has has self-tanning (to keep your tan from fading) & firming stuff in it too, so it does everythingIt's £5 and it's buy one get one free too. WBA: Oh Yes!!

can I join please? I've been lurking on and off since January but am finally able to admit to having a habit that needs breaking! I have been fairly good this year though. My Boots card went missing for a while and I thought my son had maybe hid it - like hiding the booze from an alcoholic lol - but I found it yesterday, which might not be a good thing!
I haven't had the time and/or inclination to do a proper stock take but I have a LOT of toiletries! My biggest weaknesses seem to be shower gels and body lotions/creams/butters. I reckon the whole street could shower and moisturise their bodies with my stash - and I live in a BIG street!
My bank balance is looking rather red at the moment so I need to cut back and hopefullly being here will help!
Just remembered that I did buy a 'deal' from mycitydeal.co.uk! I paid £4 for a voucher which entitles me to £15 worth of Dermalogica products from wantthelook.co.uk. Problem is that they don't actually sell anything for £15 so I will need to add to my original investment, and can't find anywhere on the website to put the voucher code in! I did email them a few days ago but haven't had a reply so will have to try to ring them before the voucher runs out. I will try not to buy anything else this month though, honest!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Welcome newbies, and good luck !!!
just about to have dinner, and am going to have a bath in a bit, so hopefully will have some use ups to report later. Cos I was in a caravan last week, and using randomly boiling or freezing showers, my moisturising went up the spout a bit, and my skin feels really dry and flaky (not helped by getting burnt to !!!!!!y!!) so I think I will have to marinade in body butter for a few days!!!
oh - have a may confession that I'll make here, I bought a can of the dry shampoo (is it Baptista??) to try before I go to Ascot next month - thought if I cant have a shower before I get changed to go racing,at least I can take wipes and the dry shampoo and feel a little cleaner !!!!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Count me in! I love this thread. :j
I haven't thought about budgets or anything yet, but I need to get a list of the stash together and work from there.
I know I don't want to buy anything until I've run out of all similar products, but being tempted by QVC and wanting to try new stuff I see in Boots are my main downfalls.
Luckily I am immune to the lure of Bodyshop and Lush so that's a couple of temptations I don't have to worry about, and I'll just have to stay out of space nk and the department stores.
Buying £4 magazines just because they have a lip gloss / nail polish freebie is another one of my trouble areas. I almost did it today. I think it was RED had a free Balance Me Lip Balm which I really really don't need so somehow I managed to walk away.:D
*toddles off to write a big list of The Stash* :eek:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
Ladies I really want to be in this month after reading last months thread, .... but I broke already and bought a tea tree oil spot stick (why oh why do I still get little break outs at my age?) and the Olay cleansing cloths that other replies have raved about. £5.98 later but saved £5 with a Boots voucher. I stared at Sanctuary bottles for a while, picked stuff up, put it all down, stared some more then did the sensible thing and walked away. Yay me, but I did have to check when the offer runs out so baby steps. Can I still join in even if I have the breaking strain of a wet kit kat? I love reading all your lists and suddenly needing all the goodies you have.0

Fixx, I saw some Aapri in Boots today (no idea how much though, sorry). I use J&J Clean and Clear which is good or maybe try the Sanctuary exfoliator seeing as it's half price and bargainous.0

Hi, I really like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Colour - it smells lovely (of peaches) and works well on my hair when it needs an intensive treatment. I think its about £5 for the bottle, but you could get a sachet for about £1 to try and see if its for you?0
