The heating switching on was a one off but I am at home awaiting the rep of the boiler company following my email to the MD. It is so cold today that I would probably pay pretty much anything to get the boiler working, I must be careful not to appear too desperate!. In the last two days I have spent £4 on coffee and I am back on the £5 a day spends which is going well.

At work tomorrow, but if we are progressing well I don't have to go in on Sunday which will be good. I am wrapping presents tonight and having an early night.
  • Sounds a good job you have all your shopping done working that many days in a row. Hope the heating gets sorted pretty quickly for you too. Must be pretty parky in your house.

I am getting ready for January when the great payment quest really begins. I think that I will be at £175k, with all of the work on my house complete and carpets down but no kitchen furniture or a dining room table, they can both wait for a while. My plan is to buy a table when I reach £160k and the kitchen furniture when I am at £150k.

The great question is what do I set as a target for year 1? it has to be £25k paid off I think.

I spent £2 yesterday on coffee.
  • Lost last post - just to say great news on heat situation, not a moment too soon!

£25K would be amazing!! How much of a stretch would that be for you? I think it needs to feel a little scary to motivate you - but not scary you want to hide under the bed! And do you have a limit as to how much you can overpay in a year? Ours is 10%.
