I bought 8 pints yesterday - 4 full fat (DS's preference), and 4 semi (so I have some for breakfasts, while he can finish it off). About 3pm yesterday (just after he got up!), DS asked me which he was supposed to be using - so was told the blue first, but when it was gone he'd be on the green until that was gone. About 5pm I saw him raiding it for (at least) a second time, and said it had to last until Friday (was prepared to get more on Thur morning, but not telling him that), and he put it back in the fridge without having any - but made a comment that implied he was disgusted it was going to have to last so long.
Got up just under an hour ago to find that since I went to bed at 1am (I was babysitting until midnight) he's totally finished the 'blue' milk - so that's 4 pints gone in a little over 12 hours
Good grief, you’ve got enough meat in your freezer to open a butcher’s shop - you must have saved a fortune if they were all whoopsies - good for you!
And, I’m sorry, but I have to agree with pdd, you are phenomenally organised - please take the compliment, it’s well deserved. You’re a lesson to us all:A
And well done for getting some fruit today, just make sure you don’t end up throwing it out....
(but if I don't eat it, the dog will.....)Hmmm.. £1 per day is going to be interestingCheryl0 -

DH gets paid on the 28th of the month so I go off pay packet month not calendar month. I've had 9 days so far to get the 5, hoping for no 6 today but may be going to town later so we'll see.
Ah makes sense now, I was just trying to get my head around how 5 goes into 4 :question:pure_dead_dopey wrote: »
I think Hubert will stay home this time, I have deep misgivings about him poohing on a national monument and I worry that the chavs may eat him.
But my heffalump was looking forward to playing... She'll be so disappointed, her name is Polly btwbutdoineedit? wrote: »Advice please.... does anyone know of any good herbal stuff for managing PMT?
Have you tried evening primrose? My daughter's used to be really bad, but she went on the pill, that really helped. Fewer dents in the doors post pill
Keiss wonderful news, I'm soooooo pleased for you. I agree, make sure there's a treat in there somewhere, you're worth it.
I really wanted a NSD yesterday, went to the gym, it was fine overdid it a bit but glad to be back. Before I left a friend invited me to an impromptu bbq in south london. However, some ***###**** in a suit at transport for London decided to shut the Blackwall tunnel southbound this weekend. Thus the entire east of London was gridlocked. I couldn't even get out of the end of my road (I live by the Woolwich Ferry) for cars queued for the Ferry. Apparently it was taking 2 hours just to do a 15 min journey. Thus I opted for the easy option and had to get a travelcard £6.50 spent but had a lovely day chilling out with mates and drinking bad wine. :rotfl:
As my knee is hurting today I'm going to take it easy and chill out on the balcony watching the little boats go in and out of the marina. Hopefully today will be day 30 -
...15 to go!
OK, must get seriously on a roll now!!!
Catch up when I've got day number 2 to report on(That'll be tomorrow...hopefully!)

I'm hoping for no 3 today - no plans to go anywhere and I think we have everything we need.
Fingers crossed!0 -
Thank you! Thought so! I get hayfever so badly that I have to take hardcore prescription only antihistamines, eye drops and a spray thing up my nose!
I used to have steroid injections but have had 14 doses over the years and the doctors and hospitals refuse to give me anymore. Not good for the bones!
This is the 30th year I've had hayfever for - since a child - and unless you get it I don't think you can appreciate how miserable it makes you. No sleep, manky eyes, sore throat and nose and generally grumpy!
Everyone says that I'll grow out of it - think I'll be about 95 by the time I do! (I'm 38 now:p). Rant over!
Will do my best not to spend anything further - no plans to go out and I think I have everything I need. When the rest of us try, we sneeze so much that the mower ends up trimming the walls! Cooled boiled water with some ordinary salt dissolved into it works really well for an eye wash & cooled used tea bags make refreshing eye pads, plus they work as a poultice & you'd be amazed the gunk they draw out
thrifty_fifty wrote: »Hi,
A bit late starting, owing to car nightmare number 3005, and also things running out so needing to buy. Was so v tight I bought Tesco value baby bath instead of bubble bath as it is 22p smells quite nice, and if they trust it to be used on babies, then it should be ok for my oh so sensitive skin....:)
Got No 4 yesterday Spoony & found my crinkly cheesecloth skirt so I'm set for the 21st. Got to find my velour trackie; need to be careful cos I could be mistaken for Vikkie Pollard in a not-so-good light

Think the heffalump will be ok... & probably Hubert too, cos if it doesn't come from a large burger chain, the chav's will refuse to eat it!!!! :rotfl:
Massive thanks for all the tips, am going to work my way through the suggestions & hopefully this time next month i will be smiley BDINI!!
Keiss, sorry for not commenting yesterday due to being a mardy moo, but fantastic news on your rebate & i second what everyone else said, make sure there's a little treat in it for you!!Nargleblast wrote: »Evening all, chavs and chavesses! Just a quick visit while it is calm at work. Hope you are all well, and that her with the PMT hasn't killed anybody yet.
Nope, not killed any real live people, but feel very sorry for the last remaining wall downstairs which is getting the hammer treatment today!! :wall:
Hoping to make it without spending today (thank you rain!!), but will report back later (or i'll be tempted to cheat!!)February NSD challenge 5/150
