PDD pj's are definitely the outfit of choice up the alley (well for the girls anyway!). To really fit in they have to be of the flanelette variety, very faded, with bobbly bits around your bum where you've sat watching Jeremy Vyle too much!!! Oh & they have to be a light enough colour to show off the very inappropriate black pants you are wearing underneath!!!
I hasten to add, i do not socialise in the alley in my pj's (which are not faded or bobbly by the way!) :rotfl:
Oh dear, BDINI, I'm going to be really overdressed then....
OK chav PJs (think WAGs pdd, they're definitely chavs) joosy cooture tracksuits I think are the order of the day, with compulsory bling jewellery and stilettos...
To anyone still wondering what a chav is, here are some pictures..The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Who stole my time? I want it back! Now. This is just not funny. I'm apparently 11 years older than I thought I was. I bl**dy hope I look 10 years younger! :rotfl:
Sppon, it's not that I've been busy. Just out of synch with normal time-space continuum. (see above!)
Me too, nicca, and I hope I look 10 years younger as well!!!!!
PDD - A Chav's exactly the same as a Ned, only they swap Kappa for Burberry. And I don't think they do the bizarre baseball cap angle thing or the nasal whine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scNLfr1EP08 Eh, please don't click on that link if you are easily offended! Though you may possibly need to be well acquainted with the Weegie vernacular to decipher it!).
OK, so what language was that in.... don't think I understood a single word........The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Now to my amazing news....got a letter from HMRC this morning. I had asked for a rebate as I was off ill for more than 15 months this and last year and had paid some tax during the year. I had asked for about £800 (nice)...but got a cheque this morning ....for over £4000!!:eek::eek:.
I am still reeling, and convinced they have made a mistake!! I will wait for the letter showing the calculations to arrive before I am convinced I am really due this amount!!
When DS2 said "oh you're rich now mum", I replied: "no, we are just less poor!!".
Still, it does mean we can pay off one credit card, and pay reasonable amounts to the interest-free one....might even get this one paid off in 15 months time.
Then it will "only" be the mortgage to clear.
Hi Keiss, this is such fantastic news for you that I thought it worth posting again so that everyone can see it and share in your good fortune.
Brilliant news for you... Hope you treated yourselves tonight to celebrate:j:jThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I've noticed as i'm getting older it's getting so much worse, today's been a nightmare of a day largely cos i've felt like such a misery guts all day
Don't really want to take "proper" medication though if i can help it....
Sending you a PM as well.

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Hope everyone has had a good Saturday and that BDINI has refrained from taking an axe to anyone tonight....
Lots more NSDs rolling in tonight - well done everyone - and two more newbies joining us today as well.:j
Welcome to:
rentawitch: :wave:hi and welcome, signing you up for 8 now.
You’ve got a big advantage being so close to work and able to avoid the temptation of shops at lunchtime - good luck and keep posting.
prophecy_grrl: :wave:hi and welcome, never to late to join us. Signing you up for 8 now. Look forward to lots of updates
And welcome back to:
mamajojo:  yes, of course you can stil join us - months have a nasty habit of sneaking up on us when we least expect them.... Signing you up for 13 now......and well done for staying on the wobbly straight and narrow!
Well done to all the following:
:jelfen: yay to no 4 - you’re doing brilliantly - well done!
:jNottoobadyet: another one up to no 4 now - brilliant - well done!
Hope the boss isn’t working you too hard?
:jmz_grim: and another one up to no 4 - that’s great, well done!
Hope the shopping expedition tomorrow isn’t too painful
:jBigMumma: yay.. well done for no 3, but grrrrr to pooter problems again.
Hope you’re at home planning your outfits for our outings
:jTrinny: yay.. well done for getting to no 2 - brilliant start to the month.
It definitely helps to keep posting here, we give each other lots of inspiration to carry on in the face of (often severe) adversity. Hope OH is on the mend soon.
:jlittlekel: well done for no 3 - brilliant - you’re definitely on a roll now. Keep going!
:jNargle: well done for no 2 - brilliant - and good luck for tomorrow
:jnicca: and well done for no 3 - brilliant start to the month for you!
:jMythi: well done for no 2 - doing well, keep going!
Oh dear to the broken ankle and what a shame about the allotment, hopefully you’ll get back there soon. A lot of things do grow well on window sills - hope they work out OK. And yes, free food is definitely the best type!
:jrachelmk: well done for no 2 - brilliant. Glad you’re feeling better, anytime you need a rant, carry on...... And good luck for tomorrow as well
:jpure dead dopey: yay and well done for no 3 - the stunned banana impression clearly worked!!
Probably wise to leave Hubert at home this time, I think Nargle’s mega-garlic marinade would play havoc with him. The aliens could probably cope, so they’re probably safe to bring along.
Advice re jammies posted above... and blue angel thing sounds fine, all sorted then!
:jslowlyfading: well done for no 4 - you’re doing great this month.
BBQ sounds great, glad you enjoyed it.
:j3Dogs: yay to no 4 - the master plan is clearly all coming together this month.....
And brilliant news about the sofa
:jOlipopsMummy: well done for no 2 - great start to the month for you - keep going!
:jLadyfromVenice: well done for no 3 - brilliant!! Keep going!
:jkatholicos: well done for no 3 - great start to the month, keep going!
And hello to everyone else:
boultdj: :(oh dear, OH and computer conspiring against you. Hope both are still alive and well?
moneypenny2k: hope the gym visit went OK and you managed to avoid temptation;)
cw18: you’re going to be on a full-time milk-buying mission in a couple of weeks, you definintely need to invest in a cow:eek:...
Good grief, you’ve got enough meat in your freezer to open a butcher’s shop - you must have saved a fortune if they were all whoopsies - good for you!
And, I’m sorry, but I have to agree with pdd, you are phenomenally organised - please take the compliment, it’s well deserved. You’re a lesson to us all:A
And well done for getting some fruit today, just make sure you don’t end up throwing it out.... Hmmm.. £1 per day is going to be interesting
Krisp: blimey, great news on the health screen - that’s brilliant! :T Hope the guitar lesson went OK and good luck for Sunday
thrifty fifty: wow.. 87 items to ebay:eek:.... that will definitely keep you away from the shops. Good luck, hope you get the amount you want, that would really help you
And I managed NSD no 4 today as well, been working all day so I haven't set foot outside the door except for a brief excursion into the garden to feed the birds...
Off to do the usual update now and hopefully do the final awards for the May challenge:o:o:o
'night all
