Hoping for an NSD today, but feeling rather carp so may go buy a huge bar of chocolate. I had to have my adorable little black shadow of a kitty kat put to sleep this morning :( He went really poorly over night and got to the stage where he couldn't even walk this morning, how can it happen so fast? He was old but I truly wasn't expecting this. Anyway ladies if I'm not around for a few days I will be back, will try and keep a tight hold on my purse but currently feel like nothing matters, silly I know but he was my little baby and I miss him so much already. Hope everyone else has a better day than me.

    Herby

Sorry to hear this Herby, especially since I was complaining about having to fork out for vet bills this morning. I fully understand how attached you were/are to your cat. Sending you a hug.:)

I'm declaring today as a NSD:j:j First one of the month!
Tomorrow may be a small spend day - have to post 2 letters but that's budgeted for (job apps so essential!) - hopefully nothing else, if not a NSD!

I really really need to economise this month so I'm trying to be as frugal as possible.

Herby - I know how you feel - my little dog is my best friend. Take care xxxx

Sorry about !!!!! cat, Herby, have a lovely mog called Albert myself, so fully understand your sense of loss. Comfort yourself with the thought that you gave that cat a damn good life, not all cats are so lucky.

My day has been a total @r$e. Car still not back, they don't know yet what the problem is. OH has got to get up at 6 tomorrow to run me to work, so he's not too impressed either! However, all clouds have a silver lining. Because my car was not done today, I have spent no money so therefore - I have my first June NSD under my belt! Let's all sing - the sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrowwww, there'll be sunnnn......

Don't know why there are exclamation marks there, what is wrong with the expression pu$$y cat? I thought pu$$y was only an offensive term in America - someone ought to tell the forum technobods that we speak proper English here, not the pidgin kind wot they speak of in America....
