Good morning all, Nargle feeling very
and  today. My car is playing silly b*ggers. Yesterday it needed to go to the garage to fix a problem which cost me £70. I drove it home from the garage, chuffed as heck because it drove so smoothly. This morning the b*st*rd would not start. It is currently in the garage having its wiring checked over. I have had to arrange to have the day off and work a night shift at the weekend instead. And gawd knows how much I am going to have to pay for that blooming tin box on wheels today! Especially if it's the cam shaft and not the wiring. trouble is, I can't afford to replace it for another 4 to 5 years (i.e. once my IVA is finished) so I have to keep it limping along as I need ot for work. A 15 mile commute is no fun on a bicycle or even a lawnmower, ewok, donkey or elephant. So no NSDs for me just yet I am afraid, but hopefully I can catch up after this week. GRRRRRRR!!!!

Morning all!
I'm attempting a NSD today - I need milk but have put the money aside at the beginning of the week for this. I also need to post an ebay parcel but this is paid for by the buyer.
I'm even going to walk to the post office (a couple of miles roundtrip) with the dog to save the petrol!
I was going to buy some spinach for a recipe that I saw last night but have decided to save the recipe for next week and so can buy it with the shopping on the weekend instead hence saving the money today.
So no more spending today - slap me if you see me near a shop!
Well I managed it! Walked to post office and local shops, only posted the parcel - cost £3.30 instead of £4 so spent the spare 70p on a can of pop. So still technically a NSD!
Resisted buying nice looking fruit from greengrocers, we can use what we have in until the weekend - so there!
Chin up Nargle - bummer of a day for you, it can only get better?0 -

Rightio I'm going to try for 25 days this month. I've never done this before but I really need to clamp down on silly spending. I'm not going to count rent and direct debits. I stocked up on food yesterday so I'm going to run that down before I buy any more. Food shopping is my big weakness.
O....M.....G..........25?
I wish you the best of luck........
Spoon, we need to get amiehall something really, really special if this target is reached....
Go girl!!!:TLife is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Hoping for an NSD today, but feeling rather carp so may go buy a huge bar of chocolate. I had to have my adorable little black shadow of a kitty kat put to sleep this morning
He went really poorly over night and got to the stage where he couldn't even walk this morning, how can it happen so fast? He was old but I truly wasn't expecting this. Anyway ladies if I'm not around for a few days I will be back, will try and keep a tight hold on my purse but currently feel like nothing matters, silly I know but he was my little baby and I miss him so much already. Hope everyone else has a better day than me.

Hugs Herb, I know how you feel, been there with much loved pets. Time does help, really. and you did the brave thing and its always really difficult.
Nargle, give the car a good kick and a beetroot and chocolate cookie, ones got to work, hate pesky machines when they don't work.
NSD for me, wearing the horse blinkers again (not fashionable but heck), went to see client, had lunch came back, aliens away making me a cup of my own tea now. That makes 2 in a row, the Dopey one is off and running this month!!!More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0
