    Hi,

I'm new to all this, I try to not spend already but always seems to go wrong, my few bits at supermarket today came to £25, couldn't believe it!!

As I'm a beginner and I shall be realistic and attemp 6 NSD if I'm not too late to join you all.;)

    QUICK GUIDE FOR NSDING.
    1. We don't use the F-word *glances knowingly toward a certain LK (see below)* & it is not a race. There is a number we aim for & that is all it is--celebrate when you get there & just keep trying when you don't.

    2. Think long & hard about what YOU want to include or exclude from qualifying spends. It is YOUR Challenge, so if you want to count in the cat's flea powder but leave out the milkman, that's up to you.

    3. Anything you think we can help you with, shout out! Most of us returnees have come up against a quandary very similar to whatever you're experiencing & we are more than willing share our solutions.

Think that's it really..keep popping in if you can as some good, imaginative ideas soon gets lost in the general support. Most of all--Enjoy!

    :angry:naughty: Repeat after me Class..We don't do F! We don't do F! We don't do F!
I am so anti that particular sentiment because the very fact you have taken note of days you haven't spent, is an achievement to be acknowledged :o Many folk say it is the silly £1 here or two quid there that prevents an nsd..just see how many we collectively managed last month alone & then turn that into pound coins. We could have booked Fat Boy Slim to play exclusively for us for all of our Brighton week-end for that :rotfl:

Sorry BigMumma, just wanted to highlight this again in case any of the newbies (and in fact any of us) missed your words of wisdom.
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

  • Morning all! Had lost you but here I am at last.

How was Brighton? I missed my flight so had to hang about in the 96% humidity in the Middle East.

I was a few days short of my target last month and June is such a busy month. There's something going on just about every day. The summer holidays will be a welcome break. Anyway, I think I'll go for 12 NSDs in June.

Haven't had chance to read the thread but want to know who did what with whom on the night out...

    Morning,

I'd really like to join please, I have been on a NSD challenge before but not in 2010.:o

Can you please put me down for 10 NSDs, although I'd like possible 12 or 13, but will aim low since this is my first month on the challenge.

Thank you very much for the thread, its very inspiring.

    Good morning all!
Blimey - page 6 already - must be good forNSD'S if we're all on here posting instead of spending!

Big welcome to all the newbies - good idea to start low and see how you go. That's what I did, 5 was my first target. Remember, it's your challenge, we're not here to judge you just to help if we can!:T

Spoon - thanks a lot for getting the June thread up and running - much appreciated!:A

Didnt post yesterday as I was feeling a bit poorly, and no, it wasnt the candy floss daquiris in Brighton - maybe the chocolate brownies - thought they tasted a bit odd. Nargleblast - hope Hubert has recovered from his shenanigans with the ponies - hope you wont be getting any visits from the PSA( pony support agency) in the next few months.:rotfl:

Anyhoo - I got my first NSD for June yesterday, and Im going for another today. Will confirm tomorrow. Got my cardigan finished so I've just to sew it up. Will do that today so no plans to go out.

    Have a great day all!:)
