NSD No1 for me today. :j:j

Managed to avoid the shops calling me as I actually drove home. (Been unable to drive for a month due to a knee op) I really wanted to stop and just buy something cos I was out and about on my own lol. Sad creature huh? On 2nd thoughts don't answer that.

    Evening guys!!!!

Ive been umming and ARRing allday as to what to include in my NSD's,(does that make me sound really sad) so im going to include anything that is not in my budget for the month, so i didnt have one today cause my DD, went to Bristol, so £19 train fare, and then £10 for her to have lunch and then £20 from her Birthday money, AAAHHHHH!!!!!!
Oh well, not going out for the next few days so should be able to bank a few!!!
Well done to those who resisted the spending monster and to those that didn't, tomorrow is another day!!!!

Oh dear, not a good start. I was given a free greenhouse recently, and have spent a fortune today on new clips, glass and gravel. Hoping for a NSD tomorrow.

NSD No.1 :T I actually MADE money (£3.30 - not much but all comes in handy!) by exchanging leftover currency at the Post Office:) Hubby had a NSD day too. Good day in the Rourke house! AND I keep having a nice surprise every time I remember it's Tuesday not Monday! :T Yay!

Hope everyone's had / having a good day!

Hello peeps :D Can't believe I never made it to Brighton! I always knew it was going to be a bit of a struggle shooting down from work, what between negotiating the Kingston Bridge, M6 and M25... but I never thought about the pesky lawnmower failing to roar into action! Arthur really caused it some problems in April I and I rerally should have serviced it first... instead I crash landed onto my friend's trampoline and never even made it over the border! :(

Sounds like I missed a stonker of a party! Next time I'll grab a lift with you PDD!

Lawnmower currently being serviced so I will hopefully make to this months event! I'll be on holiday in Sussex between 11-18th June so perhaps not then (unless we're heading to Sussex).

That holiday might also try to hamper my NSDs but nevertheless I'm going to up the ante... I made 10/10 in April and 12/10 last month so I'm going to brave and try and reach 13 this month... and to start me off, I'll claim NSD 1 today :D

    NSD 1 for me :j :j

Am chuffed i managed one today as really wanted to buy lunch in the mess & catch up with all the work gossip i missed while on hols, but resisted & came home for cauli cheese & salad!!!
Went to the dr after work & had to walk past all the local supermarkets & resisted these too :A
Can't believe i can do it, 2 months ago i would have definitely come back with a bag of groceries never to be used!!

Can i go to bed yet? First day back at work coupled with some more mega batch cooking when i got in have wiped me out.... or maybe it's the after effects of Brighton???? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

well done for not giving in and yes you can have an early night, sweet dreams. x

Not stepped foot out of the house apart from to deliver a borrowed tent back to a friend (who doesn't live near any shops). So a 1st nsd this month for me - am struggling to understand why I chose 20 as my target:D
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000
    Savings for big things £9017

WOOOO HOOOOO! My first NSD! Yay! :D:D:D:D:D:D

I didn't spend anything at work today and I was happy with myself because there was a cake sale on (there seems to be one on every second day here!) but i resisted....i sat with a big ol' bumface (a.k.a. a grumpy face!) on for about an hour but hey it was (almost) worth it! Had cupboard dinner and then went to a free game of rugby where i consumed a free pint of rather lovely cider! Yay! Now I'm back in and im going to go to bed as all this fresh air has made me sleepy! :D

Can you tell I'm a happy camper!?!
